I ask too. Where IS everyone??
Good job "B" for MAKING exercise a PRIORITY to reaching that so wanted goal!! Lucky Kids tonite, my little grandson who is three would love you for his sitter!
I have met my challenge for the day. I RAN four miles with my furry kids then did stretching and squats to make my hour! Just about have all my H2O in for the day too (still have lots of day left so I know it will be consumed)!
Happy First Day Of SPRING my fellow SIXERS!!!!
I MISS YOU!!! Please come play with me!!!!!!

HAHA! I want to know where everyone is too! Just got home from babysitting, burned over 500 cals at the gym, and had a blast in the pool with the kids, plus 80 oz of water! So today I met both stipulations of the challenge! YAY! Haha I will tell you want, I have NEVER been fired from a sitting job, parents really love me! And so do their kids!!!!!!!
I can't believe today was the first day of spring, we only had a high of 32 degrees! THERE WAS ICE OUTSIDE!!!

Well Verda, and all other sixers hope everyone had a good saturday and hope everyone has a great sunday too!!!

I came on here to whine. I will be honest. Today was a hard, hard day. In fact, the last few weeks have just been so hard. I am not sure what is going on with my body. I feel like I have no control. I am retaining an awful lot of water. I have been having digestive and bloating issues. I really feel like there is more going on but I am so tired of having health problems that hold me back. I just dont even want to find out what is wrong. I do go in for my annual on 04/06. I have to see a new gyn and that is never fun, expecially when I feel like my woman parts are reeking havoc on me.

Vacation is in 5 sleeps. I SOOOOO wanted to have lost some weight. I really failed myself. I am the only person I can blame for it also. I felt like giving up and just doing what I always do....I'll start when I get back. Well, that is not happening.....I am going to work out for the next 4 days. I am going to get in half my weight in water....100 oz per day. I am not sticking one piece of fast food or junk in this body. It starts NOW!

    Today's report,

    no exercise
    75 ounces of water.

    Have a good night ladies.

I plan to stop disappointing my own self now!

Amy (pdxmomof2) - I hear ya. I'm having the same problem, but for me only the past couple of days. But it's a pattern that will more than likely continue if I don't figure out how to nip it in the bud. So you are not alone. Which means, we can conquer these feelings together, even despite medical issues.

I haven't even been able to catch up with reading on the boards lately, but I want to let you all know very quickly that I am thinking about you and wishing you all great success.

Already drank 64 oz of water today, and planning on doing more to flush out my system from some bad food choices. Going to try and get a run in today, but may end up only being a walk (which is definitely better than sitting at home on my butt).

Have a great one everyone. See you tomorrow.

Quick update, already drank 24 oz of water so far, going to eat some breakfast (Special K and Yogurt) then go to a friends house, going to leave there around 7 or so, and get my butt to the gym! I would go this morning but im having tummy issues again.. Gosh, I felt fine yesterday after 1 or so, so I am hoping today will be the same. Plus the later gym time will assure me that I dont spend all night at the friends house as well...

Well <3 All of you! Thinking about all of you, Hope more people check in today!!!!

Pdx, Amy, Lula! Good to see that you are all alive!!! *hugs*

Just checking in really quick. I only got half my water in yesterday - about 30 oz. And no exercise. I feel like I ran around all day long and was just beat when my head hit the pillow. Planning to do some work in the yard today and hopefully clean house. Going to start on my water now. I'll check in later with today's report.

Verda and B - you guys are doing awesome and it's pushed me to do better this week.

pdxmom - I'm sorry your not feeling great. Hopefully your new gyn can find out what's causing your symptoms and fix it. Hang in there. Kudos to you for posting your measurements. I haven't measured myself in quite a while.

Lorna - Great job on getting in your water and I hope you have time for a run/walk (I hope I have time for one too).

Keep up the great work sixers and for those you ditching us this weekend - well I hope it's because you are exercising, spending fun time with your family, and enjoying the spring weather.

Good job for drinking that water AND for finding some sort of movement that will burn some calories!! Keep at it and it will become a habit!
    I drank 80 oz. of wate.r
I am under calories even though I did NOT make healthy choices today.
I did P90X YOGA for 74 minutes:grumble: As you can see I am not fond of yoga!
I cleaned house for three hours for a bachelor man then I came home, ran with the furry kids for 2.5 miles and then for the rest of the hour I pushed the broom in my two car garage and the driveway! I am pooped!!
I can go to bed knowing I did well!!! Night, talk tomorrow!

Got my water in yesterday, but not my exercise. One of my two TOM hit yesterday hard. Massive bloating, massive pain. Oh well. Going to go to the gym either way today. Already down 32 oz of water this morning. My ovary is so sore it hurts to even touch there. AAARRRRGGGHHHH! Oh well, going to bin and grear it.

Not looking forward to weigh-in this week, but going to be realistic. Although, the pain explains my massive fall off the wagon and craving of salt. I have 3 days to get rid of this "water weight".

I hope you guys have a wonderfully successful week. I'll check in later.

Good morning all! Feel like it's been forever since I've been one here...oh wait!...it HAS! Sorry about that! Took Friday off work to spend time with my sister while she was in town for Spring Break! So needless to say, didn't get in any exercise and ate horribly! But I'm back today and ready to get back to business!!! My sister and I both want to lose at least 10 pounds by June 1st...and I am determined to lose that plus some!!!

Okay...I have a dilemma! My husband and I are really trying to buckle down on money and pay off some loans. I'm cancelling my husbands gym membership because he hasn't gone in over 2 years (and yes, I've still been paying for it, like an idiot, thinking he'd start going again)! We inherited a weight bench with weights (and you know I recently got a treadmill) so we have the tools at home to acheive our weightloss goals. But the question is my membership! I haven't really gone to the gym (except a few times) since before I was pregnant. I do want to start going to classes there again, but my husband starts back at work in the next couple weeks and once he does, he won't be home to watch Kadence while I can go to classes! So I don't really know if there is any point in me keeping it now. I want to go back eventually and still hope to get certified to teach classes (once I get back in shape of course), but I just can't justify keeping it if I know I won't be using it! Any opinions? I am totally not sure what to do right now. I would have to issues if there wasn't a stupid joining fee (that is totally over-priced!) IDK!

Well...I am so behind on personals...and I apologize! I haven't been a good fellow sixer! I am totally ashamed of that! But I am ready to get back on track!!! I NEED to! So, going to try and catch up on posts at some point today!!! Have a good morning all!

    Next week's thread...

I am upset, I did terrible last night, I cannot be trusted around pizza and other unhealthy foods, I went WAYYY over in my calories last night... and I didnt even put in the snacking because I didnt know how much i had ate! :( Plus I didnt go to the gym. So Right now I am getting ready for class, totally upset with myself, but I am also packing my gym bag because immediately after class I am going STRAIGHT to the gym to do the routine my trainer gave me. I am going to go to the gym EVERYDAY this week, (thursday is the only day that i might not be able to go). And I am going to drink over 64 oz of water eeveryday as well...

However, I think this also means that I am not going to be socializing at all this week, as well as I dont think i am going to socialize before my big way in with the trainer on my birthday. I also will not be weighing in this week to give myself a bigger set of anticipation...

    Well Sixers check in later!

Good afternoon! B, Verda - I'm still here! It was a busy weekend, and a beautiful & warm Saturday!

Ended up eating way too much sodium at the end of last week and weighed in at 159 on Saturday morning. Drank more water and ate less sodium over the weekend & weighed in this morning at 157. I was 156.5 last Tuesday, so I'm pretty confident that I can get back to that, hopefully lower, by tomorrow morning.

Trying to get to a stopping point here at work before going home, so I don't have much time for personals.

B - I am in my church choir. It's a small choir. We have so much fun. Choir practice is almost like therapy for me. We joke and laugh between songs . . . OK, and sometimes during!

Amy - Weddings can be difficult for those of us trying to lose weight. I can't imagine the bride being more gorgeous than you! Great job on setting a goal! You can totally do it!

You guys encourage me so much.
I need to get back to reading all of the posts and doing personals!
I feel so rushed for time.

I did yoga today for the first time in a LONG time.
    It felt awesome.

I hope for a good weigh in tomorrow.
I don't think I've done badly this weekend, but I haven't been good either.
