well, since I am considered a healthy weight but i dont like being this big, I am losing weight to be hot lol.0

Are we counting our mental well being as part of our health? In that case, feeling comfortable and confident in my own skin is what is really driving me. Being fat is bad for my self esteem
I'm not (in my opinion) quite heavy enough to be too terribly worried about it effecting my health though I think it's incredibly important. I guess you could say I want to lose weight for my figure but really, more importantly I am worried about how I FEEL about myself. And I feel better when I look better, lol.0 -

honestly both0

I'm not even on here to lose weight im on here to improve my diet and become healthy, im already 107 lbs but that does not mean i'm healthy, I use to eat only junk just had a fast metabolism, so no just because you're skinny does not mean you're healthy0

OK, I'll admit it. I'm shallow. I love the fact that I can now run for 30 minutes... But I still want to drop 5 kilos so I look better in my clothes (I want to sock it to all the tennis moms doing the school run...)0

Both! Being healthy and caring about your body is hot0

both?
At almost 100# overweight, I was not healthy...going shopping for clothes made me want to cry...my size made it hard to move quickly to restrain my mentally ill teen.
having lost 33# I have been much healthier, I can now shop for clothes without feeling sick or depressed...and strength training has made for some awesome muscles to handle anything that comes my way. I have about 50# left before my goal and I am SOOO excited to see the changes with every pound I lose ( or don't lose)0 -
Looking good is my 1st focus, but I also try to b healthy with it too, so both0

Both are super important to me...but I would have to say that my main motivator is hot-ness...sad as it sounds.0

I'd like a large order of each please! :drinker:0

Both! But what I like best of all is feeling strong. Empowered. Like I can do anything!0

Hotness, I like to eat anything so healthy has to be number two.0

For me, it's for hotness. I have a closet full of adorable tiny clothes that I can no longer fit into. I want my closet back.0
-
both... also to be a good example for my kids in the future... if I ever have any0
-
Eh, it's some of both. Luckily, I have a BF that thinks I'm hot regardless, so it's mainly health reasons. And self-esteem reasons.0
-
Honestly to be hottttt0
-
I want to be a better athlete.0
-
Both. I want to be fit, also feel Hot for myself and Husband.0
-
Better health definitely. Hotness is more of a side effect/ perk for me.0
-
Both. But right now, my shallow is winning. MOstly wanna be hot.0
-
Mmm...hot, I want to look good in a cat suit or just naked hahaha.0

No matter how hard I try or what I do, I haven't been able to bust through my weight in the last 3 years. I'm 158-160 and likely always will be as long as I work out.
When I get discouraged about this, I try to imagine how fat I'd be right now if I hadn't been working so hard. I can easily see myself at 200+ pounds.
So, I'm not here for health or hotness, but rather "not fat"-ness.0 -
Both. I have just about always been considered to be at a healthy weight, however within that range there was a 14kg difference. For my height (167cm), to be considered healthy I could be between the weights of 56kg - 70kg! Now, I was approx 71kg when I started my weightless journey, so I could have just lost 1kg to be back in the healthy range, however I did not feel healthy. Now I stick between the weights 57-59kg and even then I am always trying to improve my weight, however I consider the fact I do lots of weight training so this focuses more of gaining weight again and decreasing body fat so that's okay.
So I am doing it so I personally feel healthy and fit && alright alright, to be so called 'hot' I suppose hahaha!0 -
To look better. Not even gonna lie0
-
Both.
But I'm already really healthy at this point, now it's about aesthetics and being stronger, faster, and more kickass at everything that I do. It's like I am in a one-person competition to be the best possible me, and I'm really serious about winning.0 -
Both. I want to be hot, to me that means being strong and healthy.0
