Like Fingernails on a Chalkboard

I have long, strong natural nails, but I generally keep them at a short length, otherwise it is too difficult for me to type, and do other things (like opening cans, etc). I tend to get manicures and pedicures every month or so, and I usually stick to purples, and pinks. Lately I have been getting acrylics, to help me stop plucking my eyelashes (i have Trichotillmania.)
