Need A Recipe for Beef!
I have a package of large beef chunks meant for beef stew, but my crock pot is at my mother-in-law's! Now I don't know what to make. Searched the forums but only saw crock pot and ground beef recipes. I'd love to make a beef stew but I'm willing to try something else. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance

Well...not sure calorie-wise but what I'd probably do is cook up some sticky rice, steam some broccoli and snow peas and carrots and create an asian sauce... Either a store bought teriyaki or honey/garlic or in the past I'll make a rue, add some beef broth, a tiny bit of peanut butter, soya sauce and garlic (salt/pepper to taste) and use that.0

Pulled-beef sandwiches... you can bake the meat in the oven at 300 degrees for several hours, same net result as 8 hours in the slow cooker.0

... and btw beef stew can also be made on the stovetop or in the oven.0

Pound it until all the juices come out.
Perfect consommé!0
