I think Rick Springfield, Jessie's Girl. Might've been Blondie though.

I didn't buy any 45's because I had them from my older brother and sister but My favorite was The Archie's "Sugar Sugar".

The first LP I bought was Supertramp's Breakfast in America and my first CD was Def Leppard's Hysteria.

John, I'm only Dancing. I don't know why I liked that song but I bought that and Golden Years when I was little. And some Dream Weaver song AND Dream On. I miss my little pink record player.

    OK
I had 45s but my first purchase was a 12" vinyl
First purchase ever was Motley Crue's Shout at the Devil (Yes my mother tried to stop me)
First 45 was Obsession by Animotion

    Yeah, very unusual musical tastes.

I only had 33s. The first one that was just for me was an old Sesame Street one (pre Elmo, and Snuffy was still invisible.)

The first i bought with my own money was Tears for Fears, Songs from the Big Chair.
