The first LP I ever bought was The Beatles "Magical Mystery Tour". It was $3.99 plus tax...big money for a kid back then.The movie was not shown in the US till many years later, but the album included a comic book style story of the movie so at least you could figure out the significance of the songs.0

used to get 45 singles as a kid...i remember getting Men At Work's Down Under and Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart...i think I have like 50 45rpm singles somewhere at dad's house.
Then moved on to cassette singles, then CD singles, then downloads.0 -
