Now I have Nirvana stuck in my head. The band - not the whole enlightenment thing. Though that would be neat too.

Wait, ok. Back on topic. Fish. Well, there are plenty of people who are pescetarian. Just remember there are non-meat protein sources as well, so you can certainly have a healthy diet which eliminates all meat except fish.

The only fish I can stomach is tuna. I don't eat beef or pork though. Just chicken, turkey and tuna.

I've been told to try talapia because it doesn't have the fishy taste or smell but I've yet to find any in my grocery store that is fresh and non processed so I haven't tried it. I refuse to buy any sort of meat that is in a box in the freezer section.
  • I'm pescetarian, but I only eat fish once or twice a week, at most. It depends on how often my boyfriend goes fishing (we live in the Arctic, so the quality is good and pollution is low), and I occasionally sneak in some smoked trout/salmon. Most of my protein comes from nuts, beans, eggs, dairy, and vegetables. I haven't eaten meat in 18 years, and it hasn't affected me negatively.
