Knee high socks

Where do all of you badass ladies get your knee high socks? The characters, the stripes, the capes. Do they actually stay up or are they the knee high socks I remember from when I was a kid that I was always pulling back up?

    ETA: These are my favorite. Technically, they are thigh-high stockings, but they don't really need garters to stay up. I'll have to upload other ones later, I have TONS of socks, including some new Dr. Who tardis socks that I just got from ThinkGeek.com lol

    I get mine from Target (2.50 a pair), D*ck's Sporting Goods (10.00 for a 3 pack that coordinate which makes it easy to mix and match!), Kohl's...basically anywhere I see a pair, I get em!

    The ones to the knee and just over the knee stay up fine on me, the ones that go about 4-5 inches above the knee (not quite mid-thigh) I find tend to roll down a little and I'm always pulling them up.

    I get mine from Throx.com I LOVE their socks and they don't lose their shape or fall down ever! Their above the knee ones are cute too!

    this is where i get mine. made in the USA, awesome socks, hold up well to wear, stay up when i wear them, fit over my big legs.

    also, got mom a pair of OTK from JCPenny for xmas, she adores them

    Everywhere.

    American Apparel ones last forever and ALWAYS stay up for me, but they're pricier. Big department stores like Kohls, JCPenny and Sears always have various brands, and I've got a few pairs from Macy's (they might have been Rocket Dog brand?) that have lasted since high school (so 5+ years). Target brand are comfy/cute, but don't tend to stay up (and wear very easily). I've picked up good knee socks even at Bed, Bath & Beyond. I am on the lookout for them ALWAYS.
