Found an awsome recipe. I was missing having pancakes because of the carbs. I've been doing some searching and found this one.
Cream Cheese Pancakes
2 oz cream cheese
2 eggs
1 packet stevia (or any) sweetener
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Put all ingredients in a blender or magic bullet. Blend until smooth. Let rest for 2 minutes so the bubbles can settle. Pour 1/4 of the batter into a hot pan greased with butter or pam spray. Cook approximately 2 minutes until golden, flip and cook 1 minute on the other side. Repeat with the rest of the batter. Serve with sugar free syrup (or any syrup of your choice) and fresh berries (optional)
Approx nutrition info per batch: 344 calories, 29 g fat, 2.5 g net carbs, 17 g protein.
Note: if you prefer a lower amount of fat, you can use reduced fat, or fat free cream cheese.0 -

www.slowcarbfoodie.com
www.marksdailyapple.com
also check out www.skinnytaste.com a lot of her recipes can be modified to be low carb.

I too am a bariatric patient. 9 years out. I have found that using MFP works great. I keep my calorie count at 1500. At the end of the day I am always over on my protein and under on carbs. I just try to eat a healthy diet. I usually have an egg sandwich with cheese on a whole wheat sandwich thin for breakfast. I have been eating this for almost a year. I enjoy it and stays with me. Usually a lean cuisine for lunch. They are small so I can handle them. Yogurt/fruit for snacks if needed. Dinner will vary but I try to avoid the carbs. As you can see, I do nothing special, just watch what I eat like everyone else. Of course I seem to stray a lot lately (last few years), the reason I am here.0

You couldn't find anything? There are so many good sites out there!
My personal favorites are these:

http://www.lowcarbfriends.com/recipereview/
http://lowcarbdiets.about.com/od/recipes/u/lowcarbrecipes.htm
The most challenging part of this lifestyle change is getting used to cooking. Most of your meals will absolutely have to be prepared by you, so you can know exactly what is in them and have this way of living be effective. It's not easy, but you can do this and if you stick with it, not only will you feel better, lose weight and get healthier, you will also have a sweet *kitten* repertoire of delicious things you can cook! Also, if you want the nutritional breakdown of foods that you already eat and are planning to include in your diet (and can't find them here on MFP) check out this site too! You can put in all the ingredients and get a nutritional breakdown of calories, fat, carbs, etc.

Under my bariatric doctors orders i am on a low carb(vitamin dense)/high protein diet. have looked around but there seems to be no recipe or snack ideas for that kind of lifestyle. can anyone help me?
You aren't looking too hard. Google "low carb diets" or "Primal" or "Paleo"
Or better yet enter those on Amazon and buy the cookbooks that appear. The internets are truly magical.0 -
Go check out the Atkins website. You will find lots of recipes there for low carb snacks and meals. www.atkins.com0

As for a productive response to the OP, I've been on Keto (or low-carbing) for a while...
I recently stumbled upon this site: http://www.skinnytaste.com/search/label/Low Carb Recipes
(Pinterest has a better layout of options from Skinny Taste): http://pinterest.com/skinnytaste/skinny-low-carb/
Also, take a look at Atkin's branded items at the store. They offer some pretty solid items that almost taste like treats. Good luck, let me know if you need any advice because I'll actually respond with something you can use.
Paleo/primal are, in their essence, founded on the same PRINCIPLES as the original low carb diets and are actually a good place to start as long as you have your own numbers in mind (your daily allotted carbs, protein needs, etc). They aren't evil, and I personally found some of the stuff from their philosophy useful while doing my own LC research. And if I were you, OP I would steer clear of those processed junk bars and shakes. They're a waste of calories and won't fill you up like real food. The best benefit of low carb/atkins IMO is the ability to tailor it to eating CLEANLY. Meaning, no processed crap. Even if it has a fancy name brand label on it, it's still processed crap.0 -
