    My diary is open also, although most of my single line item 'foods' are recipes I've entered., and my calorie goal is higher than 1400. (1640 range)

    I eat about that. Although some days I a) dont log b) go out and drink c) eat under due to stress.

    Definitely try to find some other friends at a similar calorie goal. When I was eating in that range I know that my breakfasts were usually around 200 calories, lunch and dinner 400 calories and then a few snacks throughout the day!

    The secret is Lots of veg!
    veg and salad are hardly any cal yet fill you up so much!
    I have the occasional veggy day (Im not a big meat fan) those days I stuggle to get over half my cals sometimes ( I aim for 1200)...
    If you plan your day have low cal breakfast and lunch you can afford a more calorific dinner...
