This - mid lower back. Took me over 18 years to figure out what I wanted but finally got around to getting one where I don't carry a lot of excess weight! Thinking of getting another one or two eventually....probably as a "ring" on one of my fingers or on my front of my left shoulder sorta where my bra strap would sit.........

I have 1 right now and it's on my back, on my right shoulder. I will be getting another one, but I'm not sure where I'll put it.

My husband has 18 or so...I've honestly lost count. He has them everywhere, but his preference is obviously his torso and arms. He even has 1 on his face, but I wouldn't recommend that. Biggest mistake he's ever made and he knows it now. His least favorite tattoo, besides the face on, is on his calf. He's not a fan of leg tattoos for some reason. He has a koi fish on his foot. I think the bit they did on his ankle for that one is the most painful tattoo he's ever gotten.
