    Its enough if you live at home, have no bills to pay, no gf/bf, no life to speak of. It covers your most basic needs...but if you want anything more you're going to have to make at least as much as you intend to spend.

    im on less than $1000, most people find they are unsatisfied with just the 1200 though.

    Depends on the source of your $1200. $1200 of dirty money won't go nearly as far as $1200 in clean money.
