I sleep in two hour increments - Usually from about 11-1, then from about 2:30-4:30, then I wait for the sun to rise and I make tea....

I read a lot at night, mostly school work (studying for my masters)......

If I drink to much I will generally sleep for five hours or maybe a little more.

I cannot ever remember sleeping for more than about six hours in a night.....
  • at least 8 hours. anything less and I can't function.
  • I currently do not work or have any kids (just take online college courses), so I generally get between 9 and 10 hours of sleep. Right now, my life is cake. ....MMmmmm, cake.

Not enough lately. Mild temporary bout of insomnia. However, usually I like to get 9 hours and that's good for me. Hopefully I'll be back on track by the weekend.

coffee, followed by vodka. Just kidding. My sanity is wearing thin.
  • I dont get enough sleep at all at the moment. Usually my whole week is 35 hours of sleep which is very, very bad. Just have to wait til May and then I will get my proper beauty sleep if my body will agree with that.

Mon thru Fri 3 -5 sometimes 6 a night, and I usually wake up 3 or 4 times throughout the night

    weekends 6-8

I can function on less than 3... if I don't have to talk...lol but it's not very pretty.
  • At the moment it's between 4-6 a night and no way is it enough. I'm running on fumes these days.

We currently have one car as my idiot husband lent mine to his idiot brother so I wake every morning between 5-6am to take him to work. I spend the day taking kids to school, shopping, driving my sister in law around (again my idiot husband volunteered my services) the kids after school activities. I pick the idiot up and then cook and clean, and get kids ready for the next day.
All kids go to bed at 9pm but if the baby has fallen asleep during the day she won't sleep until 9-10pm at night and then I hit the gym.
I get home anytime between 11pm-12am (occasionally later) then shower and go to bed.

Should get my car back tomorrow. then I can begin sleeping in until 7am again.

Well right now only about 3-4 :( Because I am raising 9 puppies on bottles.

I bottle feed kittens every summer so I know all about sleep loss from that! Good for you!

Not enough! I have a 3 year old and a 1 year old who both wake in the night. Some nights are fine, one of them might just wake once, but some nights are awful, and we get woken up to 6 times. Sometimes our 3 year old gets up and gets in bed with us. Over xmas, our 1 year old refused bed for 10 nights in a row. We had hours and hours of screaming. I had to lie on the floor next to her cot to get her back to sleep at like 3am.

And my personal trainer thinks I should cut down on caffeine

I should add I also work part time as a secondary school teacher. After maybe 3 hours sleep sometimes I have to face an entire day of teaching teenagers.:explode:

Not enough. I never seen to be able to sleep before midnight. I'm a night owl by nature, I would happily live at night and sleep all day. But, that isn't helpful for a healthy exercise routine. If I had to work a nightshift job, I'd have an excuse at least, but I don't. So I make myself get up at 5am or so, sometimes catch an afternoon nap, but mostly I get 5-6 hours a day. On 'nap days' I might get 7 or so.

I love sleep, I just wish sleep loved me.

I am a baby...I try to sleep at least 8 or 9 hours a night. I often get less, but it does not end well for me or my coworkers.

Before sleep study - 4 and I was a zombie, I'd fall asleep at the wheel driving home from work!!

After sleep study with a CPAP - a solid 7-8. Getting a good night's sleep is like a drug. And I was relieved to know that my severe sleep apnea had nothing to do with my weight, even though it can help in the weight loss process.

    8-10

If I get 6 or 7, I feel bad. 8 is my target but alot of times, I'll get 9 or 10.
