I like to fry it up with some garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and tabasco to make a spicy/meaty filling I can combine with veggies in a tortilla wrap.

    Bobby Flay's Vegetable Meatloaf.

I've made it many times and it's great. All the veg in it helps keep it moist, no danger of drying it out.

I love Bob Harper's Turkey Meatballs. I can eat them cold right out of the refrigerator.

    1lb grd turkey
    3 garlic cloves, minced
    1/4 c chopped onion
1/4 c fresh parsley (I used dried when I am out of fresh)
    1/2 t salt
    1/2 t pepper
    1/2 t dried oregeno
    1 large egg beaten
    1/2 c brown rice, cooked

Combine all ingredients and shape into tablespoon size meatballs. Bob cooks these in the skillet with a little olive oil spray, turning often. I bake them at 350* for about 15-20 mins.

I love these with fresh marinara sauce or mixed with sauteed veggies. Sometimes I make into patties and use as a burger.

    L
  • 1 lb ground turkey
    Balsamic Vinegar
    Franks Red Hot sauce

Crumble turkey in pan, when almost done, toss in a little vinegar and lots of hot sauce.

    Top with plain greek yogurt.

    SO GOOD, and god-like macro's

I love turkey burgers seasoned with boxed stuffing mix, egg, salt and pepper. The stuffing adds a lot of flavor and moisture.

Chop Onions, Garlic and fry with ground turkey ( after frying/draining turkey fat)
Add Cumin , Black Pepper, Salt ( or your favorite Taco Seasoning)
Add Tomato sauce and a little water to soften it all up and cover it to simmer for 15-20 mins on Med Low

  • Turkey burgers

    1lb ground turkey
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp cumin
    1 tbsp BBQ sauce
    1/2 tsp pepper
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1/2 medium onion, grated
    1/2 c oats ( or bread crumbs)

Mix all ingredient together, may need a little extra oats or bread crumbs if mixture it too liquid to form burgers. Form into patties ( should make about 6). If grilling on BBQ, put on tin foil. Can also fry in a bit of oil or grill on George foreman.

This week I found some nice large poblano peppers. For the mix to stuff them with I used ground turkey, a little vigo italian bread crumbs with romano cheese, a little light cream cheese, and some pico de gallo and roasted it through. It was fabulous! If a person were making several at a time, you might put an egg in the the stuffing mix.

    Stuffed Peppers

Brown turkey with onions (I seasoned with a spicy cajun seasoning)
mix with 1 cup cooked brown rice, and 1/4 +/- can of tomato sauce (you want it to be moist but not soupy)

Cut top off 4 bell pepper and clean out inside.
Stuff peppers with filling and place in crockpot, pour remaining tomato sauce over the top and cook on low for approx 4-6 hours.
