SO SICK OF CHICKEN!

Ugh, I can't even look at chicken anymore. Its been a staple in my diet because of the no carb, high protein content, and low fat and helped me lose my initial 40 lbs, but i just can't eat it anymore. I have tried every flavor combination and cooking style over the past year and I just ugh.

But the protein content is SO HIGH its great! One chicken breast can have like 40g! I wish I could get that from any other food...

Anyone have any ideas what else I could eat that could get me that much protein in one sitting?

I love beef, but the fat content is too high to eat every day @_@

i know its not all the same protein content, but i rotate meats every night for dinner - chicken, beef, pork, turkey, fish/shrimp. and a meatless night.
i get the leanest meat i can and just make whatever im craving.. tacos, meatloaves, buffalo chicken mac n cheese. *shrug* of course im not into 100% clean eating either. i eat what i like

Most meats will have similar protein content. If you cut trim the fat from port and beef before you cook it you can get good ratios from your macros. There are plenty of ways to prepare these meats without the fat that are still delicious! I like to brown meats, then simmer in stock with seasonings until the pieces can be shredded. By mixing up the meat and seasoning you can make an infinite number of dishes.

They do have carbs but I've had good luck eating beans and lentils in place of chicken.

Nothing wrong with fat - except for the calorie denseness, maybe. Lots of lean beef options, turkey, shrimp is amazingly low in calories/fat, but high in protein. Tuna, fresh fish. Its important to have variety in your diet, or else you will fall off the wagon!

    But seriously now . . .

Fish, shrimp/shellfish, eggs, beans/legumes, quinoa, lentils, greek yogurt, nuts, (you've already heard pork/lean beef/turkey)

You CAN get and stay out of your protein rut! Good luck on your journey.

I cook chicken a zillion different ways, so I'm never sick of it. I probably have it 5 nights a week. Maybe more. I don't log on weekend and I don't remember what I cooked.

Tonight, I stir fried it with sundried tomatoes, garlic, pesto, and "Italian blend" vegetables, and had it with Alfredo sauce and ravioli. Last night, I made a chicken, jalapeno, ranch pizza with salsa and diced tomatoes. Night before was a graham cracker crusted chicken with a maple glaze. Soooo frickin' amazing. Tuesday was with Italian veg and ravioli again, but with a marinara sauce. Monday was General Tso's chicken.

Other favorites are cooked in a crock pot with salsa, peppers, onions, spinach, Chicken Cordon Bleu, chicken with buffalo sauce & feta cheese (I like it better than blue cheese), various kinds of breaded and baked (crushed pretzels, crushed crackers, cornflake crumbs, panko, etc.), with vodka sauce, with BBQ sauce, with lemon garlic marinade, with carribean jerk marinade, Teriyaki marinade, honey mustard, yadda yadda yadda. I can go weeks without cooking it the same way twice.

    I can't eat pork...
But yes I do eat fish, tons of eggs, lots of turkey bacon, ground turkey, and protein shakes.

Chicken is such an easy food with SO much protein! I want sashimi so bad right now but I only get that once a month and i have to eat a bunch to get chicken't protein out of it.

People always say to drink a lot of water when you don't want to eat something.

I suggest you put the chicken into a blender with plenty of water and drink that. chicken shake (tm) sounds yummy.

I had a steak myself tonight. Smaller serving but sooo good. We have a lot of chicken and turkey, and this time of year seafood (which I love!), but I still gotta have steak and burgers and things sometimes! Moderation :-)

There are no negative calorie foods. Where the heck does this silly "list" keep coming from? NM. Don't really want to know.

I can't look at chicken anymore either. I eat a bunch of meat (mostly bacon) and eggs, but lately I've been obsessed with cottage cheese. Seriously high in protein and awesomely delicious!
