Need to lose 7-9 inches from my waist in a month

I ordered an outfit a few weeks ago that that runs small, but it was the biggest size they had. Everything else will fit fine but not my waist. I need it for March 16th. I'm going to attempt to do the 30 Day Shred but are there any other exercises that will help me lose a lot of inches off my waist in a short amount of time? :c

Try ripped in 30 as well. To me it has more exercises that focus on the waist and obliques.0

I'm not sure losing that many inches from one area in a month is possible, no matter how much you work out.0

Okay I just used proper measuring tape and I need to lose 4-6 inches, not 7-9. But Butlera, thanks for the suggestion!0

Is there anyway you can have the clothing altered? That might be the best bet. You don't want to worry about the clothing being too tight when you need to wear it.
You will probably find that should you get your waist to the size it needs to be to fit into the clothing the other parts of it will not fit as well as you will lose from everywhere on your body.0 -
jillian michales, No more trouble zones, alot like 30ds but no cardio and 40 min long
but 7-9 inches in a month is a lot! if you actually do this, let me know how lol0 -
whatever you dont lose you can always try spanx or squeem. as no one has pointed out, you cant spot reduce unless you go with lipo suction0

Wear a waist band (trimmer) while you work out to.0

Send it back and get something that fits. You can't lose that many inches in a month. I've lost 40 pounds this year and I've only lost about 5 inches from my waist in that time.0

I made a mistake, I only need to lose 4-6. I'm going to try and get it fitted but the outfit isn't going to arrive until the 9 days before the event so I don't know if I'll have time. But thanks for the suggestions everyone.0

Spanx 2 size too small0

The things you'd have to do to drop that many inches that quickly are very unhealthy and VERY uncomfortable. Additionally you'll feel like recycled dog sh** at the event itself. See if there's anything that can be done (modifications, different outfit, anything) before you try something drastic. If you are definitely going to try, I can't stop you, but I strongly suggest you consult a physician to make sure you're healthy enough to make the attempt.0

Also, you can't spot reduce. Fat goes away from wherever your body wishes. For me, I lose in my face and my chest and belly fat is the last to go.
Get a different outfit and some reasonable expectations.0 -

Try a session of laser or ultrasound lipo followed by a universal wrap the day before - this is how I squeezed into my dress for my friend's wedding - I know it's a temporary solution before everyone starts hatin'0

doesn't matter. you won't lose 4-6 inches in a month and be healthy. period. i might have lost just over 4 in a year. try spanx, or find a good tailor.0 -
Ain't gonna happen. Sorry if that sounds mean, but it's true.0

Nope. Sorry. You can do your best, but that's a large amount. Save it for another event. Buy something that fits right before the event. DON'T put that pressure on yourself. You'll be miserable.0

Negative.
As other posters pointed out, either return it and get something that fits, or wear Spanx.0 -
That sounds unsafe.0

Wouldn't it be easier to order an outfit that fits? There's no guarantee you'll lose 4-6 inches off your waist, even with exercise and Spanx. It all depends on how you carry your weight.
It would be easier and less stressful to order an outfit that fits now rather than try to lose the weight, fail, and then be rushed trying to find an outfit that does fit.0 -
Hi... Sorry there are no quick fixes... Sad day I know *hands you a tissue*... BUT... I can tell you that over a course of time you CAN lose 4-6" in your waist :flowerforyou:
Keep the dress as motivation... go out and buy one for the event that's coming up... and have a great time0 -

This, get your dress/outfit altered and maybe in a few months you'll reach your goal.0 -
I spot reduce by doing 10,000 crunches per day.0
-
Go shopping. Try things on before you buy them.0

Why didn't you order something that fits? Seems like a silly amount of unecessary pressure to put on yourself. I'm all for goal setting but they have to be realistic.
Hope you have a back-up plan to avoid tears on the day, like a larger outfit...0 -
