What weights are best lbs or kg?

Hi I'm about to buy some new weights and just wondering what would be best to buy for building muscle mass, kg or lbs?

    Do you use pounds or kg in real life? They're just a way to measure, like inches or centimeters. One's metric, one's not.

    Pfft. Pounds are FAR superior to kg. Just look at those weights. 20.4 kg to 45 lbs.? I think that says all that needs to be said, right there.

    It certainly looks like one!

    I measure in kg because that's what I have. The only thing weighed in lbs here are people (but I prefer to know my weight in lbs, kg and stone)!

    It does not matter if the weight is measured in kilograms or pounds. They are simply that two different measuring systems. One is metric, one is not.

    lbs are better for mass - obviously 45lbs you aren't going to be able to lift as many times as 20kg cos duh - 45 vs 20...

    so as we all know, higher reps is for toning muscle and lower reps is for building bulky muscle. so depends if you want long lean muscle or fat bulky muscle.
