I can't believe this. just get the weights and use them. If you think in kilos, then get the kg weights. If you think in pounds, then get the pounds.

I can think in both, although I do tend to convert lbs to kgs in my head, so I guess that's another reason not to use lbs as I don't want to waste training time on working out the weight.

Negative, its a reason to buy them, then you can do a double workout, mind and body at once.

Start with gram weights and work your way up. Honestly, nobody should lift anything more than 100g unless they're showing off, or trying to bulk up. You probably have a cell phone. Lift that. You need to think outside the box like this.

I think you are missing the important question.

What colour is the best for maximum calorie burn?

I've wanted to know this for ages.

I love PINK! Love it!

I heard pink burns the most too!

I always imagined lactic acid to be yellow, what colour would counter this to enable no burn but still maximum muscle gain?

I think it depends on whether your height is in centimetres or inches.

Easy, blue, colour of ice, takes the heat away = no burn.

This is the best thread ever!!! It feels so good to laugh out loud with my morning coffee, thanks op! I'm bumping this for later.

And if this was a serious post, sorry I laughed so much. My advice is just buy some weights. Sometimes our doubts and questions can prevent us from our progress. ;-)

That's an excellent question, will the weights continue to work if I spray paint them myself? If they still maintain performance for building muscle mass then I would think, military green would be the most effective or racing green with go faster stripes for toning?
No it wouldn't work if you painted them yourself because the true colour would be underneath. Sorry, good idea though.
