    The only time I go in public is if I'm beyond drunk and about to tinkle all over my jeans.

    So I don't even think to do anything because I'm too busy trying to unbutton while doing the "I HAVE TO PEE NOW" dance.

    I probably have some mutant growing down there.

    I wipe it with TP. If it's really bad i squat.

    I wipe it off AND put toilet paper on the seat. Half the time the covers fall back into the toilet, so I don't use them anymore. Are you supposed to tear that middle part out???

    Yes and if there isn't a toilet seat cover available, I use toilet paper to cover the seat.

    That stupid tissue paper is not an impenetrable barrier, I think it's more for psychological comfort. I use them for that purpose sometimes, but usually wiping down the seat plus a squat is good enough for me.
