    I am kind of picky about my equipment, so I may not be the best example. I want equipment that will feel like commercial grade on day 1 and for years and years afterwards. And, in this case, I am willing to invest in what I want.

    I have a Life Fitness T5.5, which I purchased in 2007. Between myself, my wife or one of the kids, it's used at least 4-5 times per week and still feels as good as it did the day I brought it home. I was able to get it for about 1/2 the retail price, but it still wasn't cheap. I just figured it was a lifetime investment, so if you looked at the cost over 20 years, it didn't seem so bad.

    I bought a Sole F63. I got lucky and found one on Craig's list only a couple years old. Love it!
