    Is anybody else doing the 15 min walk challage this week? Need ideas for next week got a couple of good ones, like to hear more. Enjoy BL tonight all

    Good morning all!! Hope to see some positive post here today.
    Well over did it at dinner again, I think because I am sitting around thinking about g ma I am just eating to fill the void. talked to Mom last night a couple of times. She having a hard time. They up her morphine so she is more comfortable but she out of it most the time. I wish I could be there for both of them. I mimss Home :( ... Miss V they are in Silverdale right outside of Brementon, so not to far from ya.
    So ok I got to get in my extra 15 today. Will post when done

    Hump day gals....that means 2 days til weigh in and 2-3 for the weekend...depending when that starts for you....How is everyone doing with their eating and exercising?? Hope you are all sticking to your plans and having all go your way as much as possible.
    I gotta be honest...I have not been doing well since Easter....well, truly, going on 2 weeks now. I need to have someone shake me, and wake me!! I tell myself I am doing ok, but when day after day goes by, and I 'start' and then fail...I am doing myself no favors and just not being true to ME. I 'think' I have it all together, and yes, scared I'll go back there (that higher, all time wt). I know 'how to do fat', and I know 'how to do healthy'. I'm just not living 'what I want'. It's a darn choice, and in reality, an easy one. I wish I could clean all my cupboards of all the 'crap' and just wonder what that would do 'for' me and 'to' my family. Do I dare? Gosh, to know what that would be like.....I'd so love to try it.....I am very unhappy with my gain, and have no one to blame but myself. I think *myself* needs to love *me* more....and that needs a lot of work.....anyway, today is going better, so far...let's just hope I can make it good til the end. It is my decision and no one else's. Plan and prioritize. S.I.M.P.L.E.

    Ok, so I love you guys all and care a lot bout all of you. I wish you happy days and the desire to really focus on how to take control of your life in a healthy way, and the strength when you make a mistake to get back up, brush yourself off, and learn from your actions and react with a positive plan. I know you can do it, and so do YOU!!

    Jacque....YES, I am doing the challenge with you. Right here, right now, it starts. I will make up for the last 2 days missed and do extra. I need to do this and I seriously *want* to! I hope you have a super day hon! did you get my ideas I messaged you?

    Barb ~ how's it going....things getting sunnier for you? I sure hope...hugs and prayers your way. I too am sad about my stats on the chart....gotta do something there and work on that! C'mon, we can do it!!

    Jacque I have been doing the 15 min challenge this week, its just what I needed. When we do it together it always gets me motivated.

    Barb I hate admitting it but I fell up the stairs with my arms full and landed face down on my wrist. They thought it was broken at first. But the bone is bruised and they said a little blood clot that will go away. I also tore all the ligaments in my wrist up to the elbow have to wear a brace for the next 3 weeks and cant use it, so my shred tape will have to wait. Now I am not allowed to go up the stairs with hands full. :laugh: Just glad not broken and so far no surgery.

    Barb sometimes if I dont drink enough water it make me dizzy while walking. But walking is a great stress reliever. I am working to doing my 3 miles at lunch, it takes about 2 weeks of 25 min slow walks to get my speed back up. This year I invested in a new bed with my tax refund, next year treadmill, so I can keep walking through the winter.

    Kelly we are all going through that same feeling with the ups and downs we have been going through for the last couple of months. I know you can pick yourself up too. I wanted to throw all the junk food out of the house, but this is my problem and I will win. I am flushing all the sweets out of my system and started Monday it is not easy but we can do this together.

    Well have to get back to work, will check back in after my walk today. :bigsmile:

    ok, so I walked with Leslie since it is raining, windy, and a chilly 48* here. Kinda was bored with it, but I felt good when I was done. Used 3 lb wts. Definitely burn more calories outside when I can control my pace and heart rate better for fat burning. DH is working late, so gonna do some other exercise when I return from my route.... Might hop on my treadmill and do a very slow jog....Feeling better, and quite possibly so just from the activity! Yay ! :bigsmile:

    Hi all.... i thought I was going to the gym to run 1.5 mile do the push ups and the sit-ups. That was the plan.

    Nooooo, it was family fun day at gym -- all other activities closed so the military youth can do stuff. What type of stuff... Unsure, i didn't check it out....

    Instead I took my purple girl to the car wash for a quick rinse. Hubby & I went to anther car club event tonight.

    Thinking I was going to gym, I ate a bit too much calories during the day. I had the mindset, going to run...
    Well, I didn't..,. then hubby & I had a panera bread dinner at the care event.

    Bottom line - I blew my calorie count....

    I did walk the dog... been doing that since last Thursday. He likes it! A lot! Walk him 1 mile nightly.

    Ok did better last night but was dissapointed when no change in the scale, I def need to change my routine I think.

    getting a little faster walking to the car. Only took 30 min instead of 35 so htat good!

    Yesterday went well in the food dept....and well, I didn't get my 2 round of exercise in. My inlaws surprised us and were here when I returned home from my route!! I was so happy....it made my day! :bigsmile: When I made the turn to come down my street and saw their trailer, I squealed like a little kid and ran to the house to greet them! :smooched: We cried for a little bit and had long hugs!! I am so glad they are home. After much rain the last 2 days we are clear blue skies and SUN today!:glasses: YAY! I am headed to the city to get groceries and run errands. Taking my snacks with me. Have a great day team and try really hard to keep with your plan! You can do it, it's up to you!!

    I hope things get more active here...been a little quiet. Missin some peppers and hope all is well.....take care gang...:heart:

    Happy thursday my lovlies!!!!
    Well went skating at family skate lastnight! They waxed the floors so it was SLIPPERY!!!!:love: I loved it!
    Made my own salmon burger yesterday for lunch! REALLY EASY AND REALLY good! VERY FILLING TOO!:love:
    Had to "Batton down the hatches lastnight" I swear this house was gonna hitch a free ride to OZ! It has been so windy which = other peoples trash up in my garden:frown: But when it stops it is giving me an excuse to get out and work in the garden:flowerforyou: which is something that I adore!
    Worked out at curves this morning, I could have pushed myself harder, but I did a good job so i think I might go back later!
    My hubby informed me lastnight taht he wants to do a challenge with me "The first to loose 15 pounds gets something" Im at a pletu...so i dont know about that, I told him if he just dropped his nasty habbits the pounds would melt off him faster...but it goes in one ear and bypasses the brain...... so to each there own on that one!:glasses:
    Kelly-Have fun in the sun for me lady! I sure wish it would drop by this side of the world:) LOL
    Barb-I hate when things dont allow me to do what I have planned for the day! But you walked the dog that one mile and that is what is important! and you said HE LOVES IT! :love:
    Sindy&Jacque~ GREAT JOB with the walking! It has been nasty here so i have been going to like walmart and walking there for atleast 30 mins:) ITs not as fun but it works. SO YES I have been dooing it!

    TONIGHT is my shows night on the death tube (TV) so I have decided that during every commercial (And I know therer is gonna be a million) I am gonna do situps or pushups or something to get me moving!

    pretty good here, cept I gotta do my challenge and regular workout yet...I don't really like doing it at the end of the day...so gonna try and do something bout that! I agree, doing the challenges motivates me! I kinda feel like I let the team down when I don't get it done.....you guys are soooooooooo worth it! and well, so am I!

    Vita ~ I love to hear about your skating events! what network will your team be playing on? lol, I would love to see you in action! I wish we had a Curves closer. I think there is a place called Slimmin' Women about 7 miles from here...might have to check it out! I was thinking the same thing...need to do some exercises during commercials....esp my upper arms....Whoa!

    This week has gone fast...pry cuz of Easter holiday/vaca. Have a great nite all!
