If you could go back in time...

I'd go back to see if (insert name of deity/prophet here) is real, then bring back a report.

YES please.
I would have trouble deciding really. I think I would like to go back to the beginning of time and see how the world really began. lol0 -
I would go back to the early 80's and buy lots of stock in Microsoft before they got big. Then I would leave myself a letter telling myself to do well in school, actually go to college, and for heaven's sake put down the twinkie and exercise - I'd also enclose a picture so I could be how fat I'd be at 30 if I didn't.0

HAHA! I can still edit... I thought the question was something else.
I would like to travel to the 70's, 80's and early 90's as well as the time when Julius Caesar ruled.... I would of course kill him.... I think that would make the world a lot different.0 -
In History, Regency England. Big Jane Austen fan lol. In my life, I'd go back to 1997, take the job of drum major, and work harder to get scholarships. Student Loans SUCK!0

If you count my own person lifeline, then I'd go back to my "Sliding Doors" moment when I had to choose between taking a male friend or my crush to my formal. This life I took my friend, and sure, we had a good time, but I had often wondered if something could've happened with my crush and I....life could've been different now!
I'd go as far back as early Roman times....have a fascination of the medieval roman history!0 -
I would go back to high school and marry my high school sweetheart. Yes, I'm THAT girl who dumped THE nicest guy in school and everybody told him "don't worry she'll regret it" and it only took a million years & thousands of flirts, hundreds of dates, way too many creeps, a super lot of arrogant a-holes, just as many passive aggressive wacko's, an ungodly amount of insecure nut jobs, falling on my face way too many times, a love of my life, an abusive boyfriend and a partridge in a pear tree, and I do. I regret not marrying him and saving myself all this hassle. But somehow on some level I knew the love of my life one was out there and I just really wanted to experience that before I died. I thought it was part of living. I just had to go through sooooooo much to have it.0

January 17 1996. And I'd eat that last cannoli, instead of letting my stupid girlfriend have it.
Damn those cannolis were good.0 -
As one or two folks mentioned... there are so many possibilities... would be hard to choose just one...
Ancient Rome and Greece.
AD 30 Israel to experience Jesus in the flesh walking the face of the Earth
Medieval Europe but only in the right place
Renaissance Europe to meet Newton and Galileo...
Early America... the Revolution... the Framing of our constitution
Civil War
WWII....
All these are intriguing. In reality though, I am convinced that we live in the best time frame for us..0 -
Maybe for a short moment (Aug 2000) to remember what it feels like not being worried about my hubby's leukemia. Otherwise I love the moment I'm in now. Each day is amazing but not in a rush for tomorrow. Things go by too quickly so I'll just enjoy this moment.0

the past is stupid and the future is hopeless. I wish I could enjoy the moment I live in, but I never have and never will. :brokenheart:0

The 1990's.
Music was great, television programs were awesome (Saved by the Bell was my favorite TV show growing up) and the movies...I used to go to movies all the time when I was younger, but now I don't even recall the last time I went to a movie.0 -
Whatever, I would just totally marry David Tennant and visit ALL THE TIMES.0
-
I'd go back to Las Vegas March 1987 and bet a *kitten* ton of money on the Minnesota Twins to win the World Series. They were predicted to finish in last place in 1987. LOL0

Paris on July 14th, 1789.0

RI, summer 1995 - to have more years with my mom and to major in nursing my 1st time through college (so I wouldn't have had to go back to school for it years later.)0

I guess I'm a huge geek, but I'd totally go to East Africa two million years ago and see what the life of early humans was like.0

Ancient Egypt times, hang out with some Pharaohs or Cleopatra. Or, I would want to go watch a real live gladiator battle in the Colosseum in Rome.
In my life, I would go back to backpacking Europe, 2008, and just relive that over and over again.0 -

May be interesting, but I'm not sure you would last too long.0
