I recently got a FitBit Zip from Verizon. (Hi-Tech Pedometer) I love it! It links up with MFP so I only have to log my food and exercise onto one site and it goes to both.0

You can get a pedometer at WalMart, Kmart, just about any sporting goods department.0
-
Oh yeah, I'm in. I'm going to shoot for 25,000 for the month.0
-
I usually do over 10,000 every workday anyway, so what would be a reasonable number to set as a challenge for myself?0

I made my 13,000 steps per day for last month but am not certain I can do that again. My knee has been bothering me so I am setting my goal at 11,000 this month.0

Great start Spicey and Cpa!0 -
Great job everyone! My challenge for March is to get at least 20,000 daily steps with a total goal of 600,000 steps. I did 2 miles on the elliptical and 2 miles of intermitting running/ walking on the treadmill. The rest of the steps came from my busy non-stop day.
March 1: 25990 steps taken0 -
I was complete amateur when it came to counting steps so I didn't know how much I was doing every day. That's why I put myself a goal of 250,000 steps in March. But after these two days I've noticed that I did over 20,000 just from my cardio exercise. That's why I decided to count only exercise steps (those from workouts) into this challenge.
I get my motivation from all of you! Thanks for pushing me further  Keep stepping!

Unfeigned - Choosing what you want to count is one the keys to motivation. For me, I count every step from when I get up to when I go to bed.0 -
