Made this once before, and it was a real winner. Something nice and simple.

bump so I can write it down later, a little modification (ie substituting the cresent rolls... or making it without so it's gluten free... and maybe using ground buffalo instead of beef) and I can have it!!!!
  • "Big Mac Casserole" just sounds like it should be nowhere near the word "Fitness". Is it just me?

A Big Mac is well over 700 calories. This is less than half. I think it's a great way to eat healthy and not feel deprived.

Actually a Big Mac is around 550 calories (depending on whether you're in Canada or the U.S.). Still not "healthy" but won't kill your calories if its a infrequent treat...

i was oddly hoping that a mcdonalds big mac was on the list of ingredients lol

    LOL!
I made something similar before joining MFP, I put the meat and cheese in a round shallow baking dish and topped it with triangles of cresent rolls, it was pretty good, but I have to say adding the other things you'd find in a big mac sound very appealing, I will be making this for dinner on Sunday, thanks for posting!

I allow myself indulgences (too many actually) and I have cheat meals but fast food does me in each and every time so I'm going to try to stay away for a month... it's only day 4 and the last naughty thing I had was a big mac so I'm hoping this will hold me off for the rest of the 26 days or so! I bet it will be even better without all that sodium and over processed chemical junk!

I made THIS for supper tonight. WOW hubby and I both loved it! I must say I LOVE BIG macs and I stopped eating them..but this REALLY does taste like a Big Mac..The dough has too many ingredients for my liking so next time I will make my own top dough:bigsmile:
