RN~I work in a Level 1 transfer center...I coordinate transfers into the hospital from the city, state, US, and all around the world. I just started this about 1 month ago. I came from a Level 2 ED. Was there for 6 years and just got sick of dealing with all of the non-emergent patients. I'm still PRN but haven't picked up any shifts there since I left!!!0

The woman out front who made bracelets, typed in your info or a registrar, or an operator for the hospital. Are you sure you're an RN? I would think you would know that. Not to be rude, the flowers were nice and all, but a backhanded compliment all the same.0 -

CNA for the past 3 years that mainly deals with the medicines, paper work, and vital signs. and it seems like getting re-certified starting this year for anything with the red cross is getting harder.0

I do freelance healthcare interpreting - my last job was with our local health department, interpreting for pregnant patients. Before that, my most regular gig was interpreting for patients during their visits billed to Workman's Comp.0

I have worked in medical most of my life. I have worked in Pharmacies as a pharmacy tech, worked as a Hospital Corpsman in the Navy in Labor and Delivery Department (was like an LPN), now work as a front desk clerk of a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (casually) and works full time as a Program Support Assistant mainly scheduling GI procedures for a hospital.0
