Do you track EVERY food you eat?

There are only 2 things I don't log: my daily vitamins (i.e. fish oil capsules) and sugar-free gum (maybe 1-2 pieces at most, and not everyday.)

Yes, I log everything, down to the cooking oil I might use or even sugarless gum.. It's the only way I can stay on top of it and really know what's going on.0

I track everything but spices like cinnamon, oregano, etc. I even put fresh garlic and ginger, mustard - those little things that really make no difference. I do it because sometimes I'm surprised about the calorie counts in things that I thought weren't so bad.0

I track most things. But If I have a little bite of my kids apple or something I dont always log that, just as I dont deduct when my little one eats 1/4 of my meal. I'm loosing and its working for me. I think once I hit a wall I'll be more careful of what I log. But I don't let myself eat whole snacks ect without logging it. A nibble or a lick I'll let it go, anything more and I log it.
This is pretty much what I do too. It's working for me.0 -
