    pens, pencils, paper, cards and drawings from my kids, buttons, remote control for an ipod dock I no longer have, nail polish, emery board, spare change, various pieces of jewelry, odds, ends . . .

    most of the time can't open the dang thing, it's so stuffed.

    I have a bedside table. It has my phone, lotion, cigarettes, lighter, pen, notebook, bottle of water, an empty soda can, and a Magic The Gathering card.

    Pretty boring.

    The nightstand is on my husband's side of the bed. In the drawer there is his and my lip balms, extra pillow cases, his and my Kindles, and his nighttime medications. In the cabinet part are our stash of extra lightbulbs.
