      I don't have a nightstand. I have a bookshelf. The only thing that I keep on it is my cell phone, a Rosary (that I usually fall asleep with), and a bottle of water. I'm pretty sure I just won the boring award:wink:

      I'm a college student so my nightstand is basically the closest drawer on my desk.
      -a tiny hammer
      -a tape measure
      -pens and pencils
      -blue tape
      -used and unused post-it notes
      -a table of common integrals and laplace transformations
      -and to top it off, my favorite item in the drawer...a TI-89 (engineering calculator.)
      I don't even study overly much, I'm just naturally a nerd. :glasses:

      edit: After reading the newer responses I would like to self-nominate for the "least sexy bedside drawer" award. (Although, I think my TI-89 is a rather sexy thing.)
