Fat Flush Water?

Options
Saw this on Facebook this morning and thought I'd share. I'm not sure about the fat flushing, but I'm all for adding flavor to my water.

FAT FLUSH WATER !!!
This drink was featured on The Biggest Loser along with other weight loss tips...

You should drink at least three 8 oz glasses per day, they say the longer it sits, the better it tastes. You can eat them as well but they are intended as flavoring and still work, so that is a personal choice. The Vitamin C turns fat into fuel, the tangerine increases your sensitivity to insulin, and the cucumber makes you feel full. Try it for 10 days and see what you think!

Ingredients per 8 oz serving

Water
1 slice grapefruit
1 tangerine
½ cucumber, sliced
2 peppermint leaves
Ice – as much as you like

Directions
Wash grapefruit, tangerine cucumber and peppermint leaves. Slice cucumber, grapefruit and tangerine (or peel). Combine all ingredients (fruits, vegetables, 8 oz water, and ice) into a large pitcher.

Stir & Enjoy!

I've done something similar to this called sassy water. Per 2L of water: 1 sliced lemon, 1 small cucumber sliced, some ginger and mint leaves. Let it steep over night in the fridge and drink the whole thing everyday. Not sure if it actually does a fat flush like it says its supposed to, but it tastes good!

It's crap. Eat the fruit and drink the regular water. You'll get more nutrition that way.

My neighbor jumped on the sassy water bandwagon and made me try it. It tasted horrible and whatever magic she was hoping to get from it didn't happen so it fell by the wayside like many other trendy diet tips.

This is the first I hear if it. Sounds interesting! Will look into it.

    How it works is this:
It makes you drink more water because it tastes delicious. End.

Drink more water, hold onto less water weight. Sounds counter intuitive. The more you drink, the less water you hold onto.
Doesn't remove fat, but the scale may go down.

I tested this theory - i.e. flushing water weight with water and it does work. Two Fridays ago I was 181 and felt like I was not releasing water..drank A LOT of water - talking pissing like a race horse lol - and today when I weighed in was like 176.5 so that is about five pounds in two weeks..but it is all water weight not fat...so just drink water and save your money ..or save yourself from drinking some nasty concoction..

I'd rather drink unsweetened peppermint tea. That sounds so nasty!! Maybe the flush stands for a new way to 'clean' a plugged up toilet..
