My goal is 100lbs in 6 mos.

I am eating healthy and workout at the gym 6-7 days per week for 2 hours!!

That's unrealistic. You're setting yourself up for failure.

I seemed to have taken much longer than everyone else

2 years including a 6 month period of not trying very hard. A few days of eating well then I'd slip up and decide to wait until the following monday to restart. Not a good idea but I got there in the end and maintained over 1 year.

I have lost 97 pounds since July of 2012. The first picture is a collage starting in July of 12 and the last pic in Black was taken just before Christmas. The second pic was taken about two weeks ago.

I lost 75 my first year... got to 85 and kinda got lax and maintained since last August... now I am going to get back on that horse and get it done.

I think it depends where you started weight wise... the first 85 were almost too easy, and now the struggle for the last 10 is HARD!!!

..I am surprised to see so many people lost their 100lbs in a year!...:( I am almost at the 1 year mark...and I am stuck at 220-215lbs. I am pretty much convinced I have some kind of physical issue.

I am planning to go to a dr. here within the next few months to get my thyroid checked. I am scared something is wrong :(.

I wouldn't be too discouraged. One, I went from 300 to 200 so I had a lot of weight that needed to come off and the more you need to come off the faster you lose it at the beginning, and if I could do it over I would have done it at a healthier rate because I have a lot of loose skin and I'm sure I lost some muscle along the way!

I haven't hit 100 lbs yet, but I've lost over 10 sizes. Lifting will cause you to lose more sizes relative to weight. It's been about 11 months.

Before: pushing size 30, now size 18.
