My profile picture. Almost 250 at heaviest, 165 now. Having my third baby is what pushed me. I had gestational diabetes with her and I lost weight from having to eat better. She's four months old now and I'm making sure that it stays off.0 -
I love comparison pics! They inspired me while I was losing and continue to inspire me to keep it off.
First pic is 218 and the second is me at 116.

Started in January of this year. Pretty sure I weighed more last July, but have no idea. Anyway, this is the difference so far - nearly 60 pounds since I started paying attention in January. Still have a long way to go, but this is a good start0

I love these threads! Awesome transformations! I posted before/after pics here once I reached my goal, I've gained 15 back since these were taken and am working my way back down again!

So many great successes, congrats to you all!
I started my Insanity journey back on December 17th. First pic is day 1 at 181 pounds. Second pick is at the end of round 1 at 160 pounds. 3rd pic was taken April 20th and is after a second modified round of Insanity and still at 160 pounds. Starting bf was around 23%, down to around 16% in the last pic.

Awh I am flattered
I've been fairly good with counting calories since I joined this site in 09, on and off here and there. I eat around 1450 to drop some weight if I let go for a bit and when I get to my ideal weight at around 125 I just maintain. I definitely indulge in sweets every now and again but mostly try to eat plain foods (fruits, meats, veggies).
For exercise, I have just learned more and more over the past 6 years of my life. I started out running A LOT, which really leaned me out (especially my legs). Then I joined a gym and worked a lot of the machines and when I started to see some muscle definition I was hooked and moved to free weights.
Now a day I can't run any more like I used to because I have chronic sciatica pain that flairs up really bad if I run for too long, so I have been biking long distances, averaging to 40 miles a week. (Usually two 16+ mile bike rides and I bike to and from school every day which is a few miles)
My gym membership ran out but I've been doing body weight exercises, and I just got a TRX for home and did my first workout with that yesterday. It kicked my butt!! I definitely recommend investing in one.
I hope that helps! It's been a long journey and I keep looking for new things to keep me motivated.0 -
Trying again.... The first one is from about 6 weeks after I gave birth to my youngest daughter and the second is from last week. 15 pounds down, about 7 more to go and lots of toning.0
