    Shortly after getting engaged I was at a work event. It was the end of the evening, so I was munching on a plate of fruit, and mini veggie-hummus sandwiches. As I took a bite of a cookie I had also grabbed, one of my coworkers turned to me and said, "Don't you have a dress to fit in to?"

    I was a bit stunned, but I just turned to her and said "No, my mom's making it, so my dress will fit ME."

    People are so rude, even when they don't realize it!
