I have always thought Beth Pheonix (wwe Diva) had a rocking body. Even when she was body building to be the glamazon, she still had curves. I find Nattie Neidhard too big for what I find attractive , but I love her body confindence. I like Maryse who some of the guys may have seen in playboy. Not so much her breasts (too big jmo) but her curves. She hasn't even gotten too thin.

I like all the girls on Jillian Michaels kickbox quickfix dvd, including Jillian. They all look so damn healthy.

I wanna be healthy, fit, lose a bit more my muffin top and look good in t-shirts. The best version of me.

Then what is your purpose for being here? I am, by far, not happy with the way my body looks and never have been. It is indeed hard to believe that I ever will be, but regardless, I refuse to give in. I WILL get there. You have to believe that you can do it. Our thoughts are self-fulfilling prophesies. If you think that you will always be ugly, you likely will be. And, just for the record, despite the fact that you don't have a picture of yourself up, I guarantee you that you are not "****-ugly"!!!! We all have something in us that is beautiful. Sometimes it's real hard to see in ourselves, but it is indeed there!

My goal body is that of Erin Stern, IFBB Figure Pro.

For someone a little more mainstream, Jessica Biel or Ronda Rousey (is she considered mainstream?). But then again, that's pretty much how I look in the off-season.

Jennifer Love Hewitt. She seems to have a reasonable body type to obtain because she isn't too thin (I can't get 'celebrity' thin) and doesn't go through many extreme changes in weight.

They don't have to. But some goals for some people have to do with appearance.

Good point. I definitely focus on health and performance goals more than appearance goals. But ... I definitely do still have appearance goals I would like to meet. That is more of an icing on the cake- make me feel good goal!

You can have an idol without making it your goal.

I do agree that it's not all about looks. I can't really say my body idols are attainable. I am 5 8 and tend to turn skinny. I am taller than Jillian Michals, but don't have the frame of Beth Pheonix or Nattie Neidhart. But I like that they are healthy, seem to have body confindence. So they can inspire me to be the best me. But hell looks are not everything, you are so correct.

I wanna look like the woman that plays Callie Torres on Grey's Anatomy. I think she is just beautiul! Great body shape, perfect teeth, gorgeous shiny hair. If I were to ever go lesbian, it would be for her. :)

The only "Idol" I have for a body is myself. To want something that is unattainable, for it is not ME, is futile in thought. This is one of the major issues in society. So much focus on LOOKS. :grumble:

"Arrow" tv show actor Stephen Amell or maybe Daniel Craig... but I'm not sweating too much about looking like them.

I'm pretty happy with where I am, things I'd like to improve but for 40 no complaints.

I'd like to keep improving things like my strength and quickness on the tennis court, and my diet could be tightened up a bit but I've been in worse places. Self-acceptance is a good thing :)
