From what I've read from my own research and threads on here...... women are not in "starvation mode" unless they go under the necessary 10% body fat.
Yeah. I reckon if you've got enough fat on you, you're fine
when I was pregnant with my second daughter I had hyper emesis and was very very very sick- I was hospitalized with it cos for weeks i hadn't eaten/kept anything down for WEEKS
I lost 14lb (but i was still over weight) but the doctors weren't worried about any of the starvation mode thing cos I had enough fat on me to survive for both me and my baby lol
but was kept on a drip for three days to get all vitamin, levels etc back up to normal.0 -
Before anyone jumps down her throat, remember she's tiny! I just plugged her numbers into Scoobys Workshop, and her TDEE-20% is 1246 calories.....

This is why I have such major issues with the 1200 number for every single person.
