Net 1200 calories a day. Don't make yourself miserable to look good in a bikini. 600 is too low for pretty much everyone. Anorexic people eat that much. You'll lose a lot of muscle along with fat, and that's not a good thing.
Do it right, take it slow, and look and feel great.I hope you get to the body you desire by dieting and exercising in a healthy manner.

I can assure you, that if you eat at least 1200 calories a day and workout you will look much better in a bikini than if you eat 600.0
-
wait.... you are NOT serious about 600 calories a day, are you?!?0

You know why people tend to lose weight and then gain it back? It's called crash dieting. Extremely low calories/excessive exercise = YAY WEIGHT LOSS. Then you go back to eating more like a human and your body's like "WHOA DUDE CALORIES, I LOVE THOSE" and stores them away like an old lady hoarding cats.
That's why this site is here to help you monitor your intake so you can create a realistic calorie deficit and gradually lose fat (not just weight). It's not that instant satisfaction everyone craves, but it's sustainable. The dusty old saying "Slow and steady wins the race" is pretty much the slogan for sustainable weight loss.
When you eat so little, you're losing muscle along with fat, which actually slows your metabolism causing you to burn fewer calories. Who wants that? We want to be able to eat and enjoy life, and you can't do that healthily if you're constantly going between starving yourself and panicking over food to overindulging. It's not fair to your body and it won't get you the results you want.
You live in NY so you should have plenty of opportunity to walk and get exercise. Desk jobs do suck in that regard, but if you wake up thinking "Most people should get 10,000 steps a day, I'm already in the negative because I sit on my *kitten* for 8 hours" then it helps you mindfully move more when you have the opportunity.
Best of luck.0 -

Wow. I'm so glad I didn't go about it this way and still managed (a lot easier might I add) to get a flat stomach.0

A 600 calorie eggs and grapefruit diet, eh? Fail.0
-
Say out loud '600 calories'. Then log 600 calories. And you are eating NOTHING. At least double that and make sure you ARE eating 1200 at least.0

Been there, done that, gained it back...gained some more, did that again (this time with pills), gained it back plus a even more. Rinse and repeat...
Did it the MFP way....success, and no gaining back.0 -

FTR, this just made my damn day. lol
And OP...you really should aim for a min of 1200. Look at the long term picture....eating that little "may" give you the results you seek but then what...frumpy fall and winter? Yes cuz chances are you will gain it back. Do it right the first time in a healthy manner...just once...instead of doing this plan you speak of every spring.0 -
eating eggs all day long....barf.
An egg is a chicken's period. Barf. Eating periods all day long. Barf.
Eat some real food, please.0 -

Eating like that, the actual bikini suit will end up looking better than your body.
