Had to eat at one Saturday. I fixed a nice big salad and had my dressing on the side. My main course was protein (not fried). I opted for some baked fish and some rotisserie chicken. Non starchy veggies and then fruit for dessert. I know it was all high in sodium so I drank plenty of water. It's hard eating out, but you do what you can.0

I generally avoid them, as i see 'all-you-can-eat' as a challenge!
 Me too. Or maybe even a moral obligation to get what I paid for!0 -
I can say I haven't been to one in a few years - not only for my diet (will-power) but my daugther is diabetic and has to count her carbs so in the end it's not worth our time and $$ to even go.0

I have been kicked out of one before for eating too much.0

I'm actually starting to enjoy them a bit more because of the variety. You can load up on salad and fruit and have 'samplings' of some of the other things.0

I don't avoid them.
I do however, eat less then usual before or have a nice workout before hand, so that I can eat what I want.0
