Put salmon on a piece of foil sprinkle with Mrs Dash, pinch of salt add fresh rosemary and a slice of lemon then seal it up, put it in the oven 350-375 for about 20 minutes. Take it out and let it sit for 5 minutes open up your foil and you will find the best piece of salmon ...yummy!!! Add a salad and a nice glass of red wine and you will be set!!

I like to pan sear mine. Just some cooking spray or a little olive oil and rub the salmon with grill seasoning and salt. pan fry on both side until golden. My whole family (even my 2 year old) love it!

  • All of these recies sound great! When I have made Salmon in the past, I have just thrown together some soy sauce, brown sugap, ginger, garlic and honey. I mix together, and let it marinade for about 30 minutes and then bake in the oven. Really good!

    HUNGRY NOW!
  • Yum! Before or after baking?
  • Try a dessertspoon of sour cream mixed with lime juice, chopped chives and black pepper. It's yummy!

Is that before or after you bake it in the oven?

These all look great! I have my next few meals planned already, but bumping for next time I buy salmon!
  • 2 tablespoons of light maple syrup 2 tbs of soy sauce a tbs of chopped garlic mix together, poor over salmon bake 350 for 20-25 min.
  • I use this spice that you can find in your stores called seafood magic. you spread it over the filet and then add little bits of butter in different spots over the filet. Wrap this in tin foil and bake at 450 for 15 mins, or untill it flakes easily with a fork.

On a whim I tried this last week and it came out delish:

Mix some ground or super finely chopped pecans with a little bit of brown sugar. Rinse the salmon and dip it in the mixture to coat it. You have to watch how thickly you coat it though, because if you're not careful, you will really pack on the calories with the nuts.

I place the salmon on aluminum foil then pour salsa over it. I then wrap the salmon in the foil and make a tent like wrapping. When you place it on the grill or in the oven (at 350) and cook it for about 20 minutes, the moisture from the salsa means the salmon is a bit poached. My husband is on weight watchers and according to them salsa is free. We came up with this so he could eat as much of that as he wanted. We usually serve with brown rice. My boys love it as well. Good luck!

Pour your favorite salsa on top and bake at 350 for about 15 minutes or until flaky. My favorite and a healthy way to cook salmon.
