    I hear they make flavoured lubes these days. At least that way when she licks it off she won't give you the stink eye.

    Vanilla ice cream. The coldness would help soothe the chaffing but experience suggests it would lead to prolonged bouts of licking.

    put your kitty in a little red wagon. CATS AREN'T WHEELS.

    Excuse me, the whole point of this post was about improving the cat's fitness.

    Anything that doesn't have the cat moving under its own power is not going to improve the cat's fitness.

    Well damn! There goes my suggestion of you carrying the kitty (added pounds means more calories burned for you)

    That being said, my kitty gains and loses weight as I do. We are psychically connected somehow.

    Leave the kitty at home and offer to take a neighbors dog or just walk alone with some good tunes. It doesn't sound like your cat enjoys and probably doesn't appreciate the walks. If you want to excercise kitty, get a string and run her in circles or maybe a super short walk once she is healed. And YES, for all the others who said it...someone will report you and is it really worth the fine or getting your cat taken away? Call the vet and tell them the cat needs moisturizing and ask them what they suggest. I had a dog (a chow) that after 4 blocks hated walking and I had to carry him home everytime. But I did as I didn't want to drag him along because I adored and loved him.;

    Ask PETA what they think. Send them an email.
