I think it would be more fun with more cats. I mean, look at how much fun everybody in that picture is having!

Is there any chance Mumm-Ra could organize the other cats against me? There could be trouble if I'm outnumbered.

I try to lift heavy, but Mumm-Ra just doesn't weigh enough. I may need to get more cats of different weights. My neighbor has offered to let me use her cat, Mongo the Merciless.

Any recommendations on the heaviest types of cats to lift?

    Maine Coon?

I have two Maine Coon kittens (7 months old) and they are already 10+ pounds!

I've ordered six maine coons from a breeder. Different sizes for different lifts. Two pairs of two to serve as dumbells, a two big ones to be barbells. As they grow, I will naturally progress to heavier lifts.

Do you go running or walking at all? If so, maybe one of those cat strollers would be a good investment. You get exercise, he gets to bird watch and your neighbors will have an interesting sight go past their windows.

Good plan. You can then bench the super duper vacuum cleaner you'll need. Also, think of the workout you'll get for scooping litter! Win all around.

I didn't even think of all the exercise benefits of the cleaning!

When I had a dog, I could take him running. But the Mummstrocity just flops down on the floor when I put on the leash. It's a real drag. How does one incent a cat to jog?

I can and will! I see people log it all the time. With all the fur from the maine coons, it may very well be heavy cleaning.

My cat likes to climb on my back when I'm doing planks, and I have used her as a light body bar. She likes to help, and no cat lover wants to dissuade a cat who's being social.

Absolutely. I think it would be fantastic if Mumm-Ra could do planks with me. Does your cat do that naturally, or did you offer treats?

Maybe we could do pilates together? I think cats are naturally good at this. It would be a chance for his Mummnificence to show off a little, maybe build up his ego and improve our relationship. There seem to be a lot of books on yoga and pilates for cats.

A cat stroller is a great idea. I wonder how many maine coon cats will fit in a stroller?

You need to find one of those strollers that you can hook on the back of a bike. Then, you can ride and the resistance from the added weight of the cats will be a better workout for you.

I could make a cat stroller train! Must investigate!

My cats are forever stepping on me when I try to work out. (Do you know how it is to do sit ups when your cat keeps trampling on your abdomen?!) These are helpful suggestions, thank you guys for pointing them out!

When the weather turns nicer I should give biking with Ra-Ra another try. We went for a ride once last year, but he clawed my face to shreds and we ran into a tree. Some days I think this cat hates me, but I will earn his love.

You can totally train him to bike with you. This guy got his cat to do it:

That is inspiring. I'm going to buy some velcro to help him hold on.

That cat is all fluff, it's not going to really give you the weight you need, unless you are looking for low weight, high rep work! See, you need one with more heft to it. If you can find one like this, that will work better for you:

I think that cat could eat my baby whole.

    Do people really do this?

Juggling is a fun exercise and I really can juggle three torches. How difficult can three cats be? Does anyone know the calorie burn for cat juggling? What's the safest way to do this? I get scratched enough as it is.
