Hi, I'm new to Myfitnesspal. I just signed up last night. I was put on some medication about a year and half ago and when I started it I was weighing 140lbs. As of December 2012 I was weighing 178lbs. I have been determined to lose this extra weight. I started on December 22, 2012 eating at 1200 calorie diet and cutting back on the junk food. I am a junk food junky, I love it! I have since joined a gym and I go at least 3 times a week and sometimes more. I can say that I am now weighing in at 163lbs. I feel so much better now and working out is not a chore anymore for me. I like doing it! I am at a stand still right now because I have been at 163 for a couple of weeks. I changed up my routine yesterday and I am hoping that is going to help.
Any and all suggestions are welcomed.

...I'm 5'4 and have a naturally curvy figure...any smaller than 140 and I lose my shape and look skinny, and not in a good way...lol

My ultimate goal weight is 115. But I may end up changing my mind. I think it depends on how much I tone up. I was pretty happy with my weight at 125 before so I'll have to wait and see. If I were giving advise in your situation, I would definitely figure out your BMR and TDEE and eat between them rather than just eating 1200 calories - it's a lot healthier way to go. Also, if you're just doing cardio, incorperate some weights/heavy lifting if you can.0 -
