I'm about 148lbs and have small boobs but a big bum!

I'm a UK 10/12 on top and UK12 on the bottom - however some A-line skirts I'm a size 10 as I find waist sizes are too big, although annoyingly I can't wear pencil skirts as my bum/thighs are too large so they strain the skirt but the waist is gaping *sigh*.

I'm happy with my size generally bit would just like clothes to be a bit loser, especially my slim leg jeans.

I am 5 ft. 6 in. and right now I weigh 162 and can wear a US 12 or 14 dress depending on the style. I think I would be happy going down one more size to a 10. Not sure if my final goal will get me there or not. I will re-evaluate when I get to 150 and see if want to lose another 10 pounds, but that's as far as I will go. As long as I can shop in regular sized clothing shops and look good in what they sell, I am content.

5'7" and 132 lbs. Been a US 6 for a while but my pants are quite loose now, so I think I'm making my way to a 4. Sounds like a great excuse for some new summer clothes  I agree with a lot of posts here that strength training does a lot. The clothes are really fitting differently without a huge amount of weight loss.

Very interesting, I'm 5'7 and used to be UK12 in the hips, UK8 waist and UK10 in the chest at around 158 (is that a pear or an hourglass?), now i'm at 151ish and definitely down to a UK10 in hips and 8 in waist and 8/10 in bust...

in my experience weight has nothing to do with clothes size (to a certain extent) Its mainly your frame- I wear UK size 6 or smaller (US00) and I am not skinny. I'm 5'2 and weigh 119 lbs and have always been small. My mum used to weigh 105 and wear UK size 10 or 12..
  • I'm 5'2", 220 pounds, and a comfortable size US 12, med/large shirts depending on boob room.

wow, that's crazy. i am 3 inches taller than you and was an 18W at that size. Just goes to show you how much weight does not correlate with sizes.

I was thinking the same thing! I'm 5' 5" and 210 lbs, US size 18 pants and with a 52 inch bust I'm still in a 1x or 2x top, depending on the brand.

I'm 5'7 / around 143 pounds. Sunday I had a size 2 skirt on but my pants are are 4's or 6's depends on the brand. I exercise like a mad woman because I've been this weight before without exercise and never got below a 10.

This just reminds me how annoying apple is to dress. My whole life the legs and butt of my trousers have been saggy. I have good bum! It just gets drowned in extra fabric made to fit pears. :(

5"5, currently 170 lbs, Australian/UK Size 14/US Size 10 dependent on chest room.

Wish my waist would change- I can get into size 12 jeans except at the waist.

Ultimately aiming for size 11 (thats what I used to be)

    5'6", 250lbs. A tight 20 now.

My goal weight is 145, maybe a little less. I went from the "plus size" girls section at 18 to a Ladies 12 or 14. I have never worn an odd size, like a Juniors. That would be my ultimate goal.

I am 5'8"' 128 pounds. I wear an US size 6 or 8.... I have to have the waiste taken in on any skirt i buy. I like to wear my clothes fitted, not tight. My weight fluctuates between 126 and 130 all the time, ..

My top weight was 174, and size us 14 jeans were tight...

I was a 26/28 pants at my highest in 2001 and got down to a size 10. I started losing what I had regained in January at a tight 16W and am now at a 14 so I consider myself down a size and a half as a 16W was bigger than a 16 regular. I know cause that is why I bought it:( I am a classic pear shape and am possibly going to be happy with a size 12 pants in order to maintain well. We will see. As for weight, I was at 258 lbs at my highest and am not weighing myself until I reach a size 12. I'm going by how my clothes fit. I made a deal with myself:) As long as I'm actively doing something about my weight gain and seeing results in other ways, I will not get on the scale any time soon:)

I am 5'8. Long torso and my body is very proportionate.

Right now I am 175 and in a loose size 12 (US). I was in a 12 at 185 as well.

My size usually changes like this:

    Low 160's is a size 10.
    Low 150's is a size 8
    Mid 140's is a 6
And my goal is 135-140. And that is a size 4/6 depending on the make.

I'm 5'7', 168lb currently, just fit UK size 12 trousers and fine with 10-12 tops but shirts always a 12 as my arms and shoulders are fairly muscley.
  • I'm 6'0" and 196 lbs. I currently wear a size 10 in pants and a size medium or large in shirts.

I'd like to get down to 160 - guessing from my mother's stature (we're built the same, except she's thinner), I'd assume around a size 6 and a small or medium in shirts will be where I'm at once I hit my goal. Maybe even tinier than that if I keep up the exercise? Right now I can't imagine myself in a size 4, but I also never imagined myself in a size 10 when I first started weight loss. I used to wear a size 18.

I'm 5'9", 160 and I wear a US size 8. My lowest weight back in college was 130 and I was a 4/6 then. Not a lot of variance in dress size since I'm fairly tall and the weight is mostly evenly distributed when I fluctuate.
