    Daily:
Fish oil (1 pill at breakfast, 1 pill at lunch)-I can't remember the dose. It's a big horse pill.

    When I remember:
    One a Day Women's multi
Magnesium Oxide 500mg (never daily--it can cause diarrhea--lol)
I don't take the magnesium and multi in the same day as the multi has a small dose of magnesium in it.
D vitamin-Whenever I think I need it, mostly in the winter.

When I need an energy boost, I take an Emergen-C packet or a B-Complex.

No other meds. Only Ibuprofin if needed for a headache or menstrual cramps.

Ok Cheddar - you are my true inspiration. I have just started this journey this past weekend. I am currently taking 10 different prescriptions for hypertension, diabetes, congestive heart failure and 1 for depression. I need to lose 100 pounds (possible 110 pounds). My goal is to come off most if not all of the hypertension meds. I am hoping to come off the diabetic meds also as my blood sugar lowers, but I don't know if that will remain.

Thanks for the tip on eating the fish over taking the fish oil. I would rather eat better than take ANOTHER pill - even if it is a supplement.

Mulit-Vit and omega fish oils for breastfeeding mums.
    Mezavent XL for Ulcerative colitis
    Nexplanon

I wouldn't usually bother with the multi-vitamin, but I notice a difference in my hair and nails so I think I will keep with it indefinitly, plus I have a disease which can affect nutrient absorption. I think also it is good to get Vit D supplements when you live in Scotland.

I think I am the Un-winner here. That means a take wayyyyyy tooooo many pills/meds for chronic health issues. I just have gotten sick of being sick and tired, so this past weekend I joined MFP and started to take my health and wellness seriously.
I have 13 prescriptions and 3 over the counters.

    So here goes:

    hydrazaline - blood pressure ( 2x day)
clonidine - blood pressure (1x day)
amlodipine - blood pressure (1x day)
lisinopril - blood pressure (1x day)
losartan - blood pressure (1x day)
coreg - blood pressure (2x day)
    metformin - diabetes (2x day)
    glimiperide - diabetes (3 pills 1xday)
    k-chlor - potassium replenish (1xday)
lasix- chf - (1 or 2 day depending on need)
    venefexaline - depression (1xday)
Levemir - insulin - 50 units at night injection
    fiber tablet (1xday)
    women's 50+ multi - (1xday)
chromium picolinate - otc for blood sugar (1xday)
    Crestor - cholesterol - (1xday)

naproxin sodium - for pain relief - PRN

This does not include any iron i.v. infusions I may have to get from time to time at the chemo clinic due to severe anemia. My hematologist said that taking an oral Iron supplement would not help.

I have multiple chronic medical conditions, so I have quite the list - especially for someone my age:

    Non-pill medications:
Advair 250/50 (bump up to 500/50 when in a bad flare up) - asthma medication
    Albuterol - asthma medication

    Pill form:
    Detrol LA 4mg 1/day - overactive bladder
    Cymbalta 90mg/day - depression/anxiety
    Protonix 20mg, 2/day - heartburn/GERD
    Ferrous Sulfate 325mg - Iron deficiency (1/evening)
    Costco brand Muti-vitamin
    Orthonovum - birth control
    Vitamin D - 2000 IUs daily
    Trazodone - 100mg to 200mg 1/day (depression)
Ambien - 5mg as needed (once every couple of months)
    Flaxseed oil (Omega 3s)
    Calcium Citrate 500mg 1/morning
    Singular - 10mg, 1/day (exercise-induced asthma prevention)

I feel like I'm forgetting something, but I think I've got most of my pills.

I'm hoping that when I reach my goal weight I'll be able to reduce my heartburn meds, at least.

Some of you take quite a lot! I take:

    10mg Paxil
    Birth control :P
    Multivitamin for Women
    Fiber Advance gummies.

ETA I also take 6mg melatonin when I can't sleep.

And yes, while I agree that you shouldn't need a multi if you're eating right, not everyone is 100percent all the time, and ladies, if you're taking an oral contraceptive you should be taking a multi :)

Prenatal Vitamin - NO I AM NOT Pregnant

I have met a lot of men who take prenatals, believe it or not.

I don't blame you, they are amazing for your hair, skin, and nails.
