I use frozen yogurt for sweetness/creaminess, any kind of fresh fruit that isn't citrus (I like bananas, strawberries, peaches, mangoes, etc.), and some milk to thin it out. Yum.

I use chocolate Shakeology, and I blend it with different ingredients like a banana, peanut butter, or different extracts like almond (my favorite) or coconut. It's delicious, healthy, and filling.

When I don't use Shakeology I like to make smoothies with different fruits, spinach and ground flax seed.

My new favorite is blueberry protein (Melaleuca Attain) powder 10 ounces of milk, 1 cup of frozen mixed berries and 1 to 2 cups of spinach. YUM! It is right around 200 calories...depends on how much spinach I use.

I have one everyday after my workout. Protein powder, I like vanilla because its versatile and works with all fruit. Frozen fruit to make it slushy, almond milk and my secret ingredient KALE. If you blend it well and can get past the color, you barely taste it. It adds texture, sneaks in nutrient packed veggies and my skin has never looked better! I use about 2 cups per smoothie. Blend well and blend again! Flax seed is good if I can afford the calories, as is almond butter, but I only use that if my fruit is banana. Tastes like a milk shake ;)

I use protein powder because it is a great way to have protein without the fat! Works for me.

I eat a smoothie at least five breakfasts per week. It always starts with 1/2 cup skim milk and 1/2 cup chobani greek yogurt. Then I add either vanilla or chocolate protein powder depending on the flavoring I need. I have frozen fruit and make whatever I'm in a mood for. Pineapple/cranberries, blueberries, papaya, peaches, bananas. I also add spinach, flax seed or chia seeds sometimes. A favorite right now is frozen strawberries with chocolate protein powder and wait for it...... cayenne pepper. I love the sweet/spicy combo. Yummmm!

1 banana, 1 tbsp peanut butter, 1/2 yogurt, 1 cup almond milk and about 1 1/2 cups of spinach. It tastes great; I've been drinking one for breakfast everyday for about 3 weeks now. Already my skin looks so much better, my hair is getting more shine and I feel really good/ less tired all the time :)
