Used to have the full beard when I was heavier. I tried shaving it totally since I lost the weight, but it still never looked right on me. Now I just keep it short, 5'oclock shadow like..

Dabbled with a full beard. Couple times I've cut this into a fu manchu, but for the last 20 years or so, this is the way I have looked. The only thing that has changed in the last 20 years was the color.0

I believe in taking care of myself and a balanced diet and rigorous exercise routine. In the morning if my face is a little puffy I'll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, th...en a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.0

I'm currently restricted to the "military 'stache" I'm sporting in my profile pic. In High School, I had a slightly longer Riker style. Now, given my preferences (and enough time off from work), I grow the full beard out and keep it trimmed (think Sean Connery from "Hunt for Red October" style).0
