Women - favorite fitness clothing?

I've been looking for some new work-out clothes and am interested in what everyone likes the best. Particularly, I'm looking for fitted capris that would be good for running (and other work outs), but I'm open to any fitness clothing that people love.

I wear form fitting tanks from Old Navy (can't beat the price) and shorts (the ones at Walmart are surprisingly cute and affordable).0

I like to run in shorts and a hoodie0

I dont really spend a lot of money on workout clothes, especially since I am trying to lose weight and dont plan to be wearing them for very long. Once I get to goal, I will get better stuff but I actually really like the danskin stuff from walmart. They ahve fitted capris in a few different materials, i like all of those. Also, tanks etc are all pretty comfy, I havent had any shrinking of stretching out issues since I started wearing them. I cant spend $50+ on running capris, so $11 is just right for me0

Victoria's Secret, Pink, Old Navy, Nike, Adidas... I tend to stick to these brands. Every now and then I get something from Target.0

I get Danskin stuff from Wal-mart. I love their capris and shorts! And I just use a t-shirt or tank for my top (usually with something nerdy on it like TMNT).0

Kohls has a decent sale on their TekGear line right now (50% off), and if you get their coupons in the mail, it really takes the price down. I like TJ Maxx and Marshalls for workout gear too - lots of good name brand stuff for a lot less. Target and their Champion line has been one of my biggest sources for workout wear, but lately I've been striking out with them - not as big a selection, and their prices have gone up.0

shorts and a t-shirt0

I wear Under Armour. I love their stuff! It wicks away the sweat so well, doesn't shrink after washing/drying and I've found that their black colored items take a long time to fade versus other brands (Nike, Adidas, etc). I find the best deals in the Outlet section of their website. However, if you are a XS or S you gotta be quick because they sell out in those sizes FAST! They always offer free shipping of some sort.0

Love my pants/capris/shorts from Old Navy. They are the best I've tried and at a good price.0

I am cheap so I buy my stuff on sale where ever I can find it. I recently bought a pair of Danskin Now fitted polyester and spandex capri's from Wal Mart and they're awesome!!!!! Also I love my Nike dual fusion shoes =D0

My fav workout shirts are my Yoshi one and a TMNT one, they make me feel so nerdy and awesome!!! :flowerforyou:0 -
My favorite, oddly enough, are form fitting capris from wal-mart for a whopping $13! They wash well, wear well and last and last and last. They dont bind or hug too tightly but still manage to stay up. they wick away the sweat fast and dry quickly! I just bought another pair this past weekend and the fit is slightly different than last years capri, but still super comfortable. They even added a hidden pocket for cash or key in the waistband. Cant beat it.0

Mostly Target! It's cheap, and it gets the job done. Maybe when I get to goal and have an awesome body to rock I will invest in Lululemon or some other high-end workout gear, but until then I'm good with the cheap stuff. My current favorite item is a pair of workout capris from Target. They were like $10, and are super comfortable. I like them for things like body pump, trx, pilates, rock climbing... anything where there is a risk of people seeing up my shorts, basically.0

I love my Lululemon. I swore I would never buy it when I was larger but now that I can get into it, I would never wear anything but.0

Champion is the best! I come from a semi-pro martial arts background, I currently do P90x + 1 - 3 extra hours of endurance / interval training almost every day. I would recommend Champion to anyone0

Love finding deals at TJ Maxx and then again at Kohls. I like the brand Fila at Kohls.
Good luck and have fun shopping!0 -
All my favorite fitness clothing I buy from the thrift store.... Not planning on being able to fit in it for long, so $1 per item suits me just fine0

I love Nike's stuff it's a treat and always makes me excited for running.
www.wiggle.co.uk - discounted trainers and workout clothes including decent nike trainers (they ship free internationally and have other country's stores)
Some sellers on Etsy have awesome tees, I bought these recently:

Lululemon is, by far, my favorite. But since I have not won any lottery, I buy Fila at Kohl's, and Costco has some nice workout gear.0

Thanks for this topic. I was going to spend a crazy amount of money on Victorias Secret workout gear, but why? It's workout gear. I'll head to Wal-Mart instead.0

ok. for capri length yoga pants, nobody can beat Victoria's Secret. They're expensive, but incredibly cute and last. i'm also very fond of the solid black Champions at Target. Also their running shorts with the built in panties. They're usually around $20 and come in cute colors.
One thing you didn't mention is sport bras. for running, again, i like the ones from Victoria's Secret. I'm a 34C (down from a 34D) and when i run, nothing moves. Again, expensive--i catch them on sale-- but worth it. Start with 1, see how you feel. Hope this helps.

Lululemon is the best!0

I have got a lot of mine at TJmaxx I need some more.. maybe I will save some soon and get 2 more outfits, I feel like I wear the SAME thing all the time. I found these Avia?? brand tanks at TJmaxx and they rock my fitness world. They hold my boobage in and have a slot for my phone/headphones and it wont fall out. I love it! (its the tank in my pic) I like shopping for workout clothes now that I can wear a medium in the pants.
Also, I have bought things from Walmart but I find they don't hold up very well to washings and quickly get loose and wore out.0 -
Cheap $3-5 cotton tank tops from wherever (Target, Cotton On, etc.), and running shorts from Adidas or Nike, and knee-length Skins under the shorts.
I go through running tops pretty quickly. Given that I'm a runner, I sweat so much that there comes a point that no matter how many times I soak or wash them that they still smell. Usually after about 3 months. So I don't bother spending much money on them.0 -
I like GapFit gFast compression capris and compression leggings.
If you have a Gap Factory store near you, then you could most likely find them for about $20 with a good sale, $30-$35 otherwise. This is much less than the Gap.com price ($50-55).0 -
My favorite fitted capris are by Avia. I cannot remember where I bought them and I can't find them online ugh!!! And I so love my sports bra but I ripped out the darn tag and don't know who it is by.0
-
For pants I only wear lululemon because they fit me better than anything else and last well, sports bras are mizuno, tops... absolutely anything goes but I do like Lorna Jayne and Russell Athletic. Have some 2XU running pants too but my Lulu ones still outperform them.0

I'm on the hunt for slightly loose, tapered leg (elasticized @ ankle), cotton drawstring sweat pants, with one tiny zip pocket, that do not cost $150.00. They're easy enough to find in rayon/modal/crap blends, but I want COTTON. (Tips appreciated)
My preference is for bottoms on the loose side, cause leggings/yoga pants mean I spend too much (any) time thinking about punching gross starey guys in the face. Not that I'm all that, the demographic at my gym is just especially obnoxious at certain times.0 -
I really love danskin. I have a pair of capri's and a pair of pants by them that I wear regularly. They are extremely comfortable and hold up pretty well. The two pairs I have are about 3 years old. I bought a pair of workout pants in August from Gordmans (don't know the brand of pants), but they already fell apart and they were more expensive than my Danskin's. :sad:0
