Women weight lifters! I'm curious how much you lift...I have been weight lifting for about 5 months. This is my max lifting weight, I do 3 sets, first set is 12 reps, second set is 8 reps with max weight as seen below, third set is 12 reps.
What can you:
Bench? me 85lbs
Bicep Curl (with barbell)? me 40lbs
Leg press? me 275lbs
Squat? me 80lbs (working on form)
Shoulder press (with dumbbells)? me 25lbs
Lateral pull downs? me 85lbs

I've only been lifting for a cumulative 6 weeks or so (I had to stop because of a foot issue - 6 weeks no weight-bearing exercise).

    Bench? 80lbs
    Bicep Curl (with barbell)? 50lbs
    Leg press? 215lbs
Squat? 95lbs on the rack (only been on the rack once); hack squat 235 I think
    Shoulder press (with dumbbells)? 40lbs
    Lateral pull downs? 80lbs
    Seated row - 100lbs

It's not much, but I think for being a relatively new lifter that it's pretty good :)

Have you seeing a big change in your body lifting heavy with fewer reps? I'm new to lifting and am curious about shorter reps/heavier weight. And do you do cardio as well?

You are so awesome!!! I only had really 4 main fitness goals when I started this journey 1/1/11...Run all of Greenlake(2.8 mile loop around a lake in Seattle) with out stopping, do 1 full push up, bench 200lbs and do 1 full pull up. I have accomplished a ton of other goals in the past 2 years and have completed all of my original goals but 1....still can't do a stupid pull up grrrrrr. Getting really close though so I'm super jealous of your awesomeness!!

I love the ease of having my routines set up for me and I love the 4" I have taken off my tummy since i started! I recommend this book.

I also do 10x2 sets of T-pushups (couldn't even do one girl pushup when i started), 60 second planks, 85# wide grip deadlifts from box (about 4" off ground), 10x2 reverse crunches on an incline bench (these are NOT easy), and 65# front squats, 85# seated rows, and barbell step ups (14" step) 95#x10x2
