How often do you weigh in?

Once a week because it fluctuates over time.0

I weigh twice a week. Monday Morning and Friday Morning. It's easier for me to keep on track during the week, so a good weigh-in on Friday re-motivates me for the weekend and I don't feel the need to cheat as much0

Once every month or two (or three).0

I weigh in once or twice a day most days. I don't obsess about the numbers, but I only bother updating MFP if the number goes down. If it clicks up .1 of a pound, it's as likely to be my poor quality digital scale at fault, so I check again the next day. It's like watching long term investments - panicking over numbers typically only hurts you.0

I weigh myself everyday, sometimes a couple times a day. I would suggest not getting into this habit because its honestly driving me nuts! Its definitely a habit I'm trying to kick, I freak out over the .5 lb I gained when I would have never noticed it if I would have just waited a couple more days....GOOD LUCK!0

Monday and Friday. I like to bookend the weekend to keep me accountable. When I only check my weight once a week I get the idea that I can "cheat" a little early on in the week and then make up for it later. It's all mind games, but hoping on the scale before and after the weekend seems to work for me.0

Usually every 2 weeks or so, give or take. I really have no set schedule.0

Daily.0

only on a Friday morning unless it's the time of the month then I skip that week !0

I weigh twice a day, morning and night. I do so just because I am curious at how the scale can change dramatically from day to day and the fact that there is almost exactly a pound difference between night and morning, consistently. So, a study of sorts... LOL I weigh at the same time of day and under the same circumstances (e.g. w/o pjs after morning potty break... haha) then I basically average all of those daily weights and use that as a weekly 'true' weight, as weight WILL fluctuate daily due to many factors. Then, you can average your weekly 'true' weights and see what your monthly weight is. I don't really bother with that, although it is a more accurate picture of where you are over time... To me, doing the averaging process also takes some of the stress out of the fluctuations I might see daily so I don't obsess over it...0

Every day that way I look back at what I ate they may have had too much sodium.0

When I was trying to lose weight I only weighed in once a week. Now that I am trying to maintain I weigh everyday to make sure that I am not gaining the weight back!0
-
Daily. I don't freak out over the rollercoaster of readings, but I do like to keep an eye on trends.0
-
I don't bother weighing in at all, but I take my measurements once a week. My goal isn't a weight, it's a body fat %, so my scale doesn't do me any good.0

Every morning .....no matter what.... .the good:happy: , the bad:grumble: and the oh so ugly:frown: ....
It keeps me focused.:drinker:
Wishing you continued success in your journey to a new you.:flowerforyou:0 -
Nothing wrong with weighing yourself everyday as long as it doesn't drive you crazy and you accept it fluctuates. I only put my weight into MFP once a week though and always the same time, same day.0
-
I do it at least once a week! Even more than a week won't allow you to gauge your progress very well. If you aren't losing weight, you haven't lost a good amount of time in a week, in order to adjust what you are doing!0
-
I am indeed obsessed with the scale. i weigh daily early morning after my shower. This keeps me accountable and shows me the affects of what I consume daily.0
-
Daily, but only log it once a week on MFP. It's interesting to see the fluctuations and also keeps me motivated especially when the numbers go down. Just a little reminder to keep on going. Eventually I will move back to weekly weigh ins once I've got into the routine again.0
-
Daily*. And I keep a log of it to compare to my average net calories in to calculate my average NEAT over time.
*(Or in other words, as frequently as this topic is posted in the forums. )0 -
I weigh myelf every morning and something a couple times throughout the day. It keeps me accountable for how I am doing.0
-
I've cut it down to once a month because I was obsessing. It's changed my entire outlook and I'm much happier. I no longer beat myself up and I always get to see a loss But I understand not knowing would drive some people crazy.0
-
I am a daily weigher. It's gone from an accountability thing to an addiction.0
-
Officially once a week, but unofficially every morning when I get up!0
-
I like weighing in every day but sometimes am discouraged to see the ups. It can fluctuate quite a bit sometimes and I can't figure out why. The ups make me focus more that day on some of the junk food snacks that I eat.0
-
I weigh in every day to try to gauge how different foods and exercise might factor in to weight gain/loss. I only record gained weight if it stays on for three days since it could be water weight. Wednesday is my "official" weigh in day for my small healthy eating group at work. I always record it in MFP on that day.0
-
I weigh myself once a week, but unless the change is more than 5 lbs either way, I don't record it.
When I get weighed next week at my doctor's I will use that as my new official weight, as my scale is as bipolar as Carrie Fischer off her meds. I need a different one, methinks.0 -
Every day0
-
I would say once a week. I normally do it on Sunday which for me is the beginning of the week.0
-
