banana's are not our friends :( 2 bananas tips you over your sugar intake for one day - as much as I love them - I'm steering clear.

Bananas are awesome. And natural sugars are awesome. Love your bananas!

http://www.canadianliving.com/food/banana_chocolate_chip_loaf.php (this site is one of my faves anyway)

This is my fav....I use mini loaf pans so each one is 2 slices because it makes 8 mini loaves.

This also has all the values with it as well...appx 105 calories per slice...

    My current favourite is

The recipe for the loaf cake as is:

    175g ground almonds
    2 eggs
    Big dollop of honey
    125g butter
    4 mashed bananas
3 tablespoons of cocoa (I use green and blacks)
1 teaspoon each bicarb and baking powder
    85% chocolate chopped into chunks.

Melt the butter and add the honey, eggs and bananas. Stir, then add everything else and give a good old mix until combined. Pour into a loaf tin and bake at 180 for around 40 minutes. That's it!

Here it is anyway if anyone is curious!

    2 large eggs
1/3 cup honey (can be a lot less than this! especially if you can only find sweetened apple sauce like me)
    3/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1 1/2 cup oat flour
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    3/4 teaspoon baking soda
    1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (more or less as you prefer)
1 1/2 cups mashed ripe bananas
