HOW MANY TIMES A DAY DO YOU EAT?

Historically, I have been a horrible eater. Could go all day without eating (my metabolism was DEAD), and then other days I would eat all day. I was never a breakfast eater (except on weekends), and sometime would skip dinner out of sheer laziness in not wanting to prepare it.
Now, I have not become perfect by any means whatsoever...a LONG, LONG way from it. BUT, with the help of the MFP tracking system and my MFP supportive "friends," I have been looking forward to logging each accomplishment.
I started this journey on 4/12/13.
I have been eating breakfast every day. Now that I have become more active and my metabolism is responding, I find myself actually getting HUNGRY! So to keep from binging on crap (hubby's FAVORITE pasttime that I used to willingly participate in), I am eating 6 times per day. My day looks like this:
7:30 a.m. Breakfast
9:30 a.m. Snack
11:30 a.m. Lunch
2:00 p.m. Snack
5:00 p.m. Dinner (still lazy, but try to eat a WW or Lean Cuise meal)
7:00 p.m. Snack (optional -- I usually pass this one up)
I drink 1.5 gallons of water per day. My weight requires at least 105 ounces per day.
WHAT DO YOU FIND WORKS FOR YOU??? 3 meals a day? 6 meals a day? More? Less? I am interested in learning how people are divying up their menus.

4-6 meals ... Really depends on how many calories I consume per meal...
Usually I need a big breakfast to keep me energised for the day/workout...
My last meal would be somewhere around 400-600 kcal0 -
not sure how many "meals" but def eating something at least every 2 hours...0

I think I eat about 5x a day ...idk...go look at my diary, I log everything .......Like MS 1981 said, I eat about every 2 hours or so ...depends on how I feel really ...0

I eat at 6, 10, noon, 2, 4, and dinner (whenever that ends up being). Anywhere from 100 to about 300 calories each time, except dinner which is usually more. Feel free to take a look at my diary if you want food ideas.0

My Doc wants me to eat 6 times a time, I usually get 4-5 in a day. I have metabolism problems also, best wishes,0

I eat as many times as I want and have calories for..lol. Generally try to do 3 bigger 'meals' and at least 3 snacks, sometimes more. I eat ALL THE THINGS.0

During the week I eat at 4am, 8am, 12pm, 5pm and 7pm, and sometimes extra snacks or a protein smoothie - thats what fits in around my work/exercise schedule and stops me ever getting hungry.
On the weekend I eat when I feel like it, usually bigger meals less often.0 -

but no on the serious side usually 3 meals i never been a big snacker0
