    I get up early so find six meals works for me.
    5am - breakfast
    8:30am - snack
    11.30am - lunch
    2pm - pre-workout snack followed by a protein shake afterwards
    6pm - dinner
    8pm - snack

    dinner
    post work out snack or dessert ( I like ice-cream after an intense workout and it works fine for me LOL)

    Twice. Coffee for breakfast, lunch(maybe) around 1-2pm, then dinner around 7-8

    If I exercise, I try to eat more smaller meals, 5-6.

    3-5 times a day,but I try to make at least a 3 hour gap between every meal because I just have to let my stomach digest the food before I eat again.

    sounds like your on a great path!!! 6x a day and water got me to lose 20lbs in a month. =) all portioned of course. I ate 3 meals and 3 snacks. no juice unless I juiced it myself and I usually only juiced vegetables.

    CONSTANTLY! lol my jaws are going 6-8 times a day but I stay within 1750-1800 calories a day for maintenance

    My food diary is broken up as:
    Breakfast
    Mid-Morning Snack
    Lunch
    Mid-Afternoon Snack
    Dinner
    Misc. Snacks/Drinks

    I might have something in one of those snack categories that I have been munching on all day. I bring almonds to work. I might munch on half of them in the morning and half in the afternoon or something.
    I am basically always eating. Unless I just finished a meal. Then I usually wait 1-2 hrs before snacking on something...

    I am a habitual snacker. I tried to break that habit, but I find that it's a hard one to break and I don't really want to break it. So I changed all my snacks to healthy things like greek yogurt, almonds, fruit, all natural applesauce, raisins, etc...
    So I am eating all day, but it's all good.

    I don't really eat breakfast. Lately I will eat a banana in the early morning before hitting the gym. I get home, and have a protein shake. I have my coffee later in the morning. But my coffee is heated milk with instant. I don't brew with water. So even though I don't usually have breakfast, I'm still getting about 150 calories just from my coffee.

    Also, I drink over a gallon of water a day as well. :smile:

    Meal/nutrient timing is irrelevant. Eat when it works for you.

    I pretty much eat all day long. Like constantly. Most of my meals are smaller because I like to snack. It works for me.

    I have other friends who prefer IF or like to eat a more structured meal plan.

    Do what feels right for you.

    Probably like 5-6 - I eat constantly during the week, I don't really have a set "breakfast" and "lunch", just a bunch of random things I bring to work and eat when I'm hungry.

    At least 6 times a day. As long as I am in my calorie limit, I never pay attention to how many times.

    Generally 6 times, 3 meals, 3 snacks. It's not some voodoo plan to keep my metabolism going but it's an effort to never become hungry. By not being hungry I'm only eating what is necessary to fuel my body and enjoy life and I'm doing so without over eating.

    I eat three meals and maybe two snacks during the work week, but more than likely on the weekends two meals and two snacks.

    As long as I feel good and stay within my parameters I'm ok with it.

    I eat when I'm hungry...if that's once, fine.....if it's twice, that's fine too. Not gonna eat when I don't feel hungry..just because that's the "healthy" thing to do. Me personally...I got fat from eating all day long. It works fine for some people...but it's certainly not a "one size fits all" solution.

    5 plus a post w/o shake or 6. If i skip a snack or meal I add cals to dinner for a big meal as I love the feeling of being full!
